Background / History

Itachi is an Uchiha prodigy and one of Konoha’s foremost young shinobi. Though few people have seen his true face due to his years in the Anbu, he operates as a double agent between his clan and the village leadership. He carries a palpable killing intent beneath an otherwise calm, youthful exterior. 3

Before the planned Uchiha Clan Downfall, Itachi is caught between his desire to preserve Konoha’s peace, his loyalty to his clan, and pressure from Danzo and Konoha’s higher-ups. Danzo and other officials use Sasuke as leverage against him, while Itachi’s father, Uchiha Fugaku, is connected to the clan’s planned rebellion. 20 22
