Background / History

Orochimaru collaborated with Danzo on experiments involving Sharingan transplantation and the First Hokage’s cells, requiring a large supply of test subjects. When Danzo mentioned Yun Xi’s unusual regenerative ability, Orochimaru requested Yun Xi’s file and decided to investigate him personally. Danzo allowed this, but specifically warned Orochimaru not to act inside the Hidden Leaf Village. 9
