  • Sen Chisato sensed large chakra surges as Sand Hidden launched an attack, and Orochimaru ordered Konoha’s units to engage and defend the camp.
  • Orochimaru learned that Iwagakure had sent reinforcements to the Land of Grass, so Namikaze Minato left to respond using Jiraiya’s Flying Thunder God Mark.

  • A massive Water Style attack struck the Sand Ninja, and Rasa blocked it with a Gold Sand wall while protecting the bridge from two Water Dragons.
  • Rasa spotted Sen Chisato, who ordered the Konoha squad to retreat and kept them beyond reach of Gold Sand advancing underground.
  • When most of Rasa’s subordinates had crossed the gorge, Sen Chisato stopped the retreat and ordered the squad to combine Fire Release with his Wind Release: Great Breakthrough.

Ch. 43The Weakness of Magnet Release

  • Sen Chisato spotted Monk Bunpuku among the Sand Ninja crossing the gorge and ordered another fire-style assault.
  • Sen Chisato bypassed Rasa’s shield and fired a Great Fireball at the gold sand bridge, but Rasa blocked it and attacked him with gold sand.

Ch. 47Chiyo Couldn't Understand

Chisato Morino used Manda, clones, and a water technique to disrupt Rasa’s attempt to seal Shukaku, but Shukaku fired a Tailed Beast Bomb that engulfed both Chisato and Rasa. The blast left Orochimaru racing toward the battlefield while Chiyo struggled to understand what had happened.

  • Rasa dodged Manda’s attacks, then trapped and wounded him with gold sand until Manda ended the summoning and vanished.
  • Chisato Morino used the smoke as cover to create Shadow Clones and attack Rasa with a fireball, but Rasa’s layered sand shield blocked it.

  • Rasa ordered Sen Chisato killed after declaring the mission a failure, and Bunpuku agreed that Sen Chisato would have to be sacrificed for the war effort.
  • Shukaku charged at Sen Chisato as he fled toward the Konoha main battlefield, while Rasa sent his Gold Sand after him.
