Kakashi, standing to the side, also wore a grave expression.
"This... we are following the will of the Hokage to invite your master to complete a mission."
"It is the village's intent; if he doesn't go, it will be very troublesome."
Deidara looked impatient, convinced that this group of people before him was simply obstructing him from learning art from Uchiha Sora!
However, he also understood that, for the time being, he at least counted as half a member of Konoha Village.
For the sake of the village, he had no choice but to nod.
"Follow me!"
And so, the group followed Deidara into the courtyard.
The moment they stepped inside, they were all dumbfounded.
The current Uchiha courtyard could be described as a scene of total devastation.
Right in front of them was a massive crater; there were still some water stains inside, and there was no doubt that this had once been a pond, but now it had been blown away, with not even a drop of water left.
Directly beyond that, a uniquely shaped rockery stood with its entire surface riddled with holes.
There was no doubt that this wasn't a design choice, but the result of being raked by gunfire.
They could also see craters dotting the ground nearby; they were spaced closely together, as if a multitude of Explosive Tags had been detonated in place.
But in reality, this was the handiwork of grenades.
This wreckage was nothing; at most, it left Kakashi and the others stunned.
But what truly left them bewildered was Uchiha Sora, who was currently shouldering a metallic, gleaming Gatling Gun nearly a meter long.
The Gatling Gun was still spinning, and the barrels were still emitting smoke.
Uchiha Sora turned his head to look at them.
"Oh, it's the two seniors. My apologies for not welcoming you sooner—please, sit down and have some tea!"
With that, Uchiha Sora nonchalantly hoisted the Gatling Gun onto his shoulder.
Sasuke, standing beside him, also set down the AK-47 in his hands and trotted back into the house to fetch a tea set.
Deidara reluctantly tucked the belt hung with grenades back into his robes.
Kakashi watched this scene with his jaw on the floor.
This wasn't the Uchiha clan grounds—this was clearly an armory!
Moreover, although these weapons were all bizarre and unlike anything he had ever seen, their appearance alone was terrifying enough to suggest they were not to be trifled with!
"Sora! We aren't here for tea. You don't need to go to any trouble. We've come to request that you participate in a mission for the village. Besides, you're getting older, and you need a teacher. How about..."
Jiraiya spoke politely, as if he were the one seeking an apprenticeship.
However, before he could finish, Deidara glared at him.
"Bullshit! My master doesn't need a master. As for his artistic methods, you lot aren't even worthy!"
Jiraiya's expression soured, though it seemed to be the truth!
If Uchiha Sora could cultivate such terrifying mushrooms, it was only natural that he didn't need a teacher.
Kakashi, standing to the side, still wouldn't give up.
"Well... while it's true that Sora has achieved deep mastery in specialized fields, sometimes learning ninjutsu and standard combat is the foundation of being a ninja."
Before he could finish, Sasuke walked over carrying the tea and chimed in.
"Big brother! Didn't you say earlier that you had evolved your Sharingan? Why don't you show me?"
The scene fell into a stunned silence.
Kakashi and Jiraiya exchanged a look, thinking, Is this guy really this monstrous?
Beyond inventing all sorts of powerful gadgets, this guy had even upgraded his Sharingan?
One had to understand that while the evolution of the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan was considered a secret, Kakashi and Jiraiya were both high-ranking officials in Konoha Village, and they understood the relevant details.
From the lowest level of one tomoe to the highest level of three tomoe, this was the standard growth path for an Uchiha.
But that was only the starting point.
Once one reached the high-level three tomoe, despite already possessing many powerful abilities—such as seeing through genjutsu, slowing down perception of movement, and copying ninjutsu—that was not the end.
Higher-level ocular techniques, such as Amaterasu or Susanoo, required further evolution to master.
In essence, three tomoe was just the beginning; whether one could learn these subsequent skills was the real key.
Looking across the entire Uchiha Clan, there were very few who had unlocked these subsequent, monstrous abilities.
Shisui had been one, but he was now dead.
Itachi Uchiha was another, and as a genius, he had unlocked even more.
But as it happened, he had now betrayed the village.
Yet, looking at the boy before them, how old was he? At this rate, it felt as if he were on the verge of surpassing Shisui back in his prime.
For a moment, the two men fell silent, both of them filled with a sense of anticipation instead.
Uchiha Sora, however, remained indifferent.
To be honest, he hadn't even checked the system notifications for his rewards yet; he only knew his eyes had leveled up.
But Uchiha Sora was also well aware that without some kind of special constitution, using high-level Sharingan techniques recklessly would easily lead to a backlash.
Take Kotoamatsukami, for instance—using it once meant the price of permanent blindness.
Unless, of course, one was an Edo Tensei.
But that was essentially impossible in the short term.
Therefore, Uchiha Sora hadn't cared much, only deciding to check them now.
"It's actually... Kamui?"
Uchiha Sora was astonished. Kamui was yet another one of the high-level skills of the Sharingan.
It was equivalent to a miniature black hole.
Once activated, it could form a point within the user's line of sight capable of devouring all matter.
According to the original records, if used by a powerful enough individual, this thing could even teleport a Tailed Beast Bomb on the spot!
Moreover, it was quite effective for lethality as well.
More importantly, this Kamui was the least taxing of all the ultimate moves.
It didn't consume one's lifespan; it only caused the eyes to bleed during use.
To Uchiha Sora, that was practically nothing.
With that, Uchiha Sora's eyes shifted rapidly, and he blinked at a boulder in front of him!
In an instant, to the stunned silence of everyone present, a black dot appeared.
It was only the size of a pinhole, yet it emitted a terrifying, lethal suction force.
In the blink of an eye, the stone had a perfectly clean, circular hole cut through it!
This scene left everyone present even more shocked.
"This is Kamui... although I possess it too, this is something innate to his eyes. But just how old is Uchiha Sora?"
Kakashi could be considered the person who understood the Uchiha best, aside from the Uchiha brothers themselves.
He possessed Shisui's eye, which allowed him to unleash a portion of the Sharingan's abilities.
Among them was Kamui.
It could be said that Kakashi had personal experience with it, and he realized with astonishment that the power of his own Kamui seemed inferior to Uchiha Sora's!
Beside him, Jiraiya's eyes were wide as saucers.
"Damn! What did this kid grow up eating? How does it feel like another freak is about to emerge in the Ninja World?"
Jiraiya also understood the Sharingan, and he knew that Uchiha Sora unlocking Kamui in such a short time was equivalent to him learning the Rasengan when he was a child.
Or perhaps, it was even hundreds of times more difficult.
