Sora's Here? Orochimaru Flees for His Life

After several more exchanges, he was already injured!

Just as Orochimaru launched another attack and Tsunade was about to reach her limit,

the sound of wings beating came from the distant horizon.

"What?"

Orochimaru's eyes widened. He couldn't help looking toward the horizon.

The moment he saw what was coming, he was thrilled.

"Fantastic! Deidara! Where have you been these past few days? Why couldn't I find you anywhere?"

Sure enough, a large white Clay bird was approaching in the distance, with several figures riding on it.

Orochimaru couldn't make out everyone clearly yet, but he recognized Deidara. That was enough.

"What? They have reinforcements too? Damn it!"

Tsunade instantly felt despair. She hadn't stood much of a chance against Orochimaru one-on-one to begin with.

And now the other side had reinforcements? Was this really going to be the end of her?

Fortunately, Shizune took a closer look and suddenly cried out.

"Wait, look! The people on that bird seem to be Jiraiya and Kakashi. They're our side!"

At her words, Orochimaru froze.

What the hell?

Why were Kakashi and Jiraiya here?

And if he remembered correctly, that bird was made of Clay.

Could it be that Deidara had been captured by Konoha?

As Orochimaru tried to make sense of it, the white bird in the distance drew closer.

Everyone could now see Kakashi and Jiraiya standing on it.

Sasuke was there too, along with a masked girl.

And then there was someone who had practically given Orochimaru a psychological scar.

It was Uchiha Sora.

"Holy crap! It's Uchiha Sora? No way! How can I be this unlucky? How did they know I was here?"

Orochimaru's face darkened. He never would've expected to run into Uchiha Sora here.

And how had they found out where he was?

By then, Sora and his group had also spotted Orochimaru below.

Sora chuckled.

"Well, if it isn't Senior Orochimaru, bullying the weak out here?"

Jiraiya wore a mocking grin.

"You escaped last time. Now we'll show you what Konoha can do."

Kakashi's gaze settled on Tsunade.

"Lady Tsunade, are you all right?"

Without another word, Kakashi swooped down and began treating Tsunade's injuries.

As for Sasuke, under Sora's direction, he quickly dove toward Yakushi Kabuto.

The situation changed in an instant. For Orochimaru, the tide had turned against him.

"Damn it! Yakushi Kabuto, we have to leave! We can't stay here!"

Orochimaru shouted and turned to flee, controlling the great snake beneath him.

But Kabuto couldn't get away.

Although Shizune had lost the ability to fight, she saw the reinforcements arriving and gritted her teeth as she drew her weapon again. Her sneak attack blocked Kabuto's escape.

"I can't hold them off, Lord Orochimaru! You go first!"

Kabuto's face was pale as he immediately took up a fighting stance.

The person standing before him was Sasuke.

"You're Sasuke, right? One of Konoha's famed Uchiha. But you're still only a Chunin, aren't you?"

Kabuto taunted him, seemingly trying to bolster his own courage.

After all, the situation was far from favorable.

Sasuke only sneered.

"Is that so? Things are different now. I've learned a lot of my big brother's techniques!"

"Big brother?"

Kabuto froze.

He didn't understand what Sasuke meant.

But the next second, he did.

Sasuke pulled an AK-47 from inside his clothes!

He chambered a round and pointed the muzzle straight at Kabuto.

Kabuto's scalp instantly prickled.

"Holy crap! What are you doing?"

Kabuto wasn't stupid. He'd already seen this weapon in Orochimaru's possession.

He never expected Sasuke to be using one too.

Meanwhile, Sora wasn't idle either.

He pulled out a Gatling Gun and aimed it at Orochimaru.

Tsunade and Shizune both stared in stunned silence.

What was going on?

Shouldn't Jiraiya and Kakashi be the main force in this rescue?

Why were those two standing around doing nothing?

Instead, Sora and Sasuke were at the very front.

"What is that weapon? Jiraiya, why are you letting the kids fight?"

Tsunade demanded, thinking Jiraiya was just being lazy.

But Kakashi spoke up.

"Uchiha Sora isn't a kid. Even the Hokage recognizes his combat ability. Put it this way: he once killed a Tailed Beast instantly."

Shizune's eyes widened.

"What? He killed a Tailed Beast instantly? Was the rumor true? This is Uchiha Sora?"

Tsunade sucked in a sharp breath too.

"The rumor said Shukaku, the Tailed Beast of Sunagakure, invaded Konoha and was instantly killed by a mysterious ninja. Was that Uchiha Sora?"

Both of them were shocked. Sora's combat ability was simply beyond anything they could comprehend.

In all of history, even Senju Hashirama and Madara Uchiha, with all their extraordinary talent, probably hadn't had this kind of ability.

Seeing Orochimaru flee in such a sorry state, Tsunade seemed to understand.

"This kid really has that kind of power?"

Jiraiya nodded confidently.

"Of course! And that's not all. He's got all kinds of strange tricks. He uses weapons I've never seen before, and they're terrifyingly powerful."

"Anyway, don't worry about it. Let Sora handle things."

Seeing that neither Kakashi nor Jiraiya seemed concerned, Tsunade was only half-convinced.

Meanwhile, in midair, Sora and Deidara were riding the white Clay bird in hot pursuit of Orochimaru!

"Holy crap! Deidara, what happened to you? Have you betrayed the organization?"

Orochimaru cursed as he fled.

He'd always known Deidara was unreliable, but why was he helping the enemy now?

Wasn't that a betrayal of the organization?

Deidara didn't care in the slightest.

"I'm pursuing art, you wouldn't understand! Now stop already and let my master blow you up!"

"I want to witness a few more works of art!"

Orochimaru was so angry he could barely speak.

"Get lost, you traitor! When I get back, I'm reporting you!"

Orochimaru was furious.

Everything had been going well. He'd been just about to succeed.

Once the treatment was complete, he'd leave and lie low somewhere for a while.

But now they'd come right to his doorstep.

And that damn Deidara! After all the time I spent worrying about you!

Orochimaru was beside himself with rage.

Sora only sneered.

"Orochimaru! You've always seemed interested in technology. How about joining me?"
