The world of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
The story was now set one year later, and Boruto was thirteen.
By this point, Kawaki had escaped from Kara and been taken in by Konoha.
Isshiki went to Konoha to demand Kawaki, but Naruto and Sasuke refused.
So they fought in another dimension.
Facing Naruto and Sasuke, who were even stronger than in the original story, Isshiki used Jigen's body to activate Karma State Two. Though he overwhelmed Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke, beating them mercilessly,
Naruto had learned the Flying Thunder God Technique, while Sasuke had adapted to using his Rinnegan abilities without his Rinnegan.
With their greatly increased strength, Naruto and Sasuke managed to hold out until Jigen's body began to break down. Realizing that this "vessel" was no longer usable, Ōtsutsuki Isshiki returned to the dimension where Kara was based to recover.
But after Amado and Kashin Koji betrayed and outmaneuvered him in his resurrection plan, Isshiki's plans for revival were completely ruined.
"Haha, it looks like the Hokage and Sasuke did a number on you.
They even forced you to reincarnate so quickly.
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki!"
Kashin Koji looked at the transformed Ōtsutsuki Isshiki with a mocking smile.
Like the other Otsutsuki, Isshiki usually wore an elegant, close-fitting white long-sleeved tailcoat and loose black trousers that often covered his bare feet.
The sleeves bore patterns that matched his tattoos.
Isshiki had pale skin and gray-white hair.
A long, curved horn grew from his head and swept back, like a crown.
He had only one eyebrow, above his right eye.
His right eye possessed a unique dōjutsu: a golden, wheel-shaped pattern with eight triangles around the pupil.
His left eye was a Byakugan. His hair, right eyebrow, and beard were gray-white, marked with unusually jagged patterns. He had vertical rows of Tomoe tattoos on his chest and back. His fingernails and toenails were all black.
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki glanced at Kashin Koji expressionlessly.
The golden Rinnegan on his right lit up.
[Daikokuten]
Kashin Koji was defeated in one move, pinned to the ground beneath a summoned stone pillar.
"Too bad!"
In the end, Kashin Koji escaped using the Reverse Summoning Technique.
"It looks like Isshiki is coming to Konoha now. He's completely reincarnated as Ōtsutsuki Isshiki using Jigen's body.
His power is even greater than Jigen's was.
This time, I'm afraid we're in for a real fight!"
Naruto said with a wry smile.
Before, when Jigen hadn't fully reincarnated, he and Sasuke had at least been able to put up a decent fight together.
But now, there was no telling how things would go.
Uchiha Sasuke looked grim, but he seemed much more confident than Naruto.
A confident smile appeared on Uchiha Sasuke's face. "Don't worry. I still have a trump card I haven't used. We're not completely without a chance."
Naruto was surprised to hear Uchiha Sasuke say that. Sasuke's strength had improved greatly, but he was still only a little stronger than Naruto.
It was like how Naruto had once been stronger than Sasuke, while the two of them were still roughly evenly matched.
Naruto asked curiously, "Sasuke, what's your trump card?"
Uchiha Sasuke smiled but didn't answer. Instead, he said, "Let's bring Boruto along for this fight."
"What!"
"Don't tell me your trump card is Boruto!
Sasuke, are you kidding me?
Boruto has improved a lot, but he's still only reached the level of a master, which is about on par with the Five Kage.
How could he possibly be your trump card?
I won't agree to this!"
Naruto refused outright.
Uchiha Sasuke had expected Naruto to say that, so he began to explain. "Boruto doesn't just have Momoshiki's Karma. He also has the Karma of the Sage of Six Paths, the Hyuga Ancestor, and the Ancestor of Sage Arts, the three brothers. The power inside Boruto is beyond your imagination.
"Besides, I'm not asking him to take part in the fight.
"I only want to use Boruto to summon Otsutsuki Tatsuten, the Ancestor of Sage Arts."
"If that's the case, then I'm definitely taking part in the battle."
After hearing Uchiha Sasuke's words, Boruto smiled happily.
He had wanted to help his father and Sasuke for a long time.
Naruto, however, didn't see it that way. If it were really that simple, Sasuke would have said so earlier. Why bring it up only now?
Naruto looked at Sasuke seriously. "Sasuke, there's more to this than you're letting on, isn't there?"
Seeing Naruto's expression, Sasuke nodded seriously. "That's right. Summoning Otsutsuki Tatsuten, the Ancestor of Sage Arts, won't be easy.
"After all, it's a summoning that crosses through time and space. We're not even in the same world or time.
"Even if it succeeds, Boruto will have to spend several months recovering because of the enormous chakra it'll consume.
"That's why I've never mentioned this technique.
"But it's the only way we can defeat Isshiki now, isn't it?"
After hearing Sasuke's words, Naruto fell silent, but he eventually agreed.
Just like in the original story, Isshiki said he would leave Konoha if they handed Kawaki over to him. But when Naruto refused, he attacked with all his might.
Naruto entered Kurama Sage Mode.
He maintained Kurama Mode while taking on the form of Sage Mode. The horizontal Sage Mode pupils and the vertical, beast-like pupils of Kurama Mode overlapped to form a Cross-Eye, combining all the traits of both modes.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The sounds of their fierce battle echoed through the sky. They traded blows back and forth, but after around a dozen exchanges, Naruto was completely suppressed.

Ōtsutsuki Isshiki kicked Naruto away.
He spun through the air several times before managing to steady himself and land on a huge boulder.
Though he tried with all his might to keep Kurama Sage Mode stable, the unprecedented pressure still caused a slight disruption in the flow of chakra inside him.
"Is this the power of Ōtsutsuki Isshiki?"
Naruto murmured to himself, his eyes shining with determination.
He knew the outcome of this battle would determine the future of the entire Ninja World.
Taking a deep breath, Naruto adjusted his stance and formed Hand Seals, quickly restoring his chakra.
He knew he couldn't rely solely on the power of Kurama Sage Mode. He had to find another way to fight Isshiki.
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki watched Naruto coldly. At the same time, he couldn't help but feel some admiration for a human who possessed such tremendous power.
"Now, let me show you my true strength," Ōtsutsuki Isshiki murmured. He suddenly vanished from where he stood, then reappeared right in front of Naruto.
Naruto's eyes narrowed. He felt a sense of danger unlike anything he had ever experienced.
"Rasengan!" Naruto shouted. A huge blue sphere of energy took shape in his hand, and he slammed it toward Ōtsutsuki Isshiki.
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki sneered and punched straight at it, his fist colliding hard with Naruto's Rasengan.
Boom!
A tremendous explosion rang out, and the entire sky seemed to split apart beneath the force of the energy.
The powerful impact sent Naruto staggering backward, while Ōtsutsuki Isshiki remained rooted to the spot, completely unmoved.
"Is that the extent of your strength?" Ōtsutsuki Isshiki asked calmly, his eyes full of disdain.
Naruto said nothing, but his gaze grew even more determined. He knew he hadn't lost. He still had greater power he hadn't unleashed.
He took a deep breath and adjusted his stance again.
This time, he was going to release all his strength and fight Ōtsutsuki Isshiki in a final showdown.
[Daikokuten]
Suddenly, the golden Rinnegan in Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's eye lit up. He summoned a black cube that came crashing down toward Naruto.
[Flying Thunder God Technique]
Naruto quickly used the Flying Thunder God Technique to dodge the attack.
"Space-Time Ninjutsu? What a troublesome technique!"
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki said coldly.
Just then, Sasuke and Boruto appeared.
Working together, Boruto used the Space-Time Ninjutsu of his Karma to suck Isshiki into another dimension. The three of them then entered the dimension together.
"Again and again, over and over!
"This time, I won't hold back. I'm going to kill every last one of you!"
Enraged, Isshiki intended to wipe out all three of them right there.

Naruto and Sasuke said nothing. They unleashed their ultimate forms at once.
"Boruto, do you remember the technique I taught you?" Uchiha Sasuke asked him.
"I remember it, but... The technique looks simple enough, but it's way too hard to use!" Boruto replied with a wry smile.
"Let's go!"
The battle began.
Ōtsutsuki Isshiki's golden pupil widened sharply, then flashed.
Daikokuten summoned several enormous black cubes from above. They came crashing down and immediately disrupted Naruto's Nine-Tails Beast Mode and Sasuke's Susanoo, throwing their teamwork into disarray.
With his powerful Taijutsu, Isshiki kicked Sasuke into a boulder.
