A woman of about twenty-seven or twenty-eight descended from the sky. Her features bore no obvious Fars traits, nor did they resemble those of any country on the Old Continent. She was certainly not an orc, either. There was something indescribable about her. Though she was a remarkably beautiful woman, she carried an air of someone from far away.

Her attire was also rather peculiar. It did not follow the style of any Old Continent nation, yet it was highly practical, much like the hunting outfits popular in Fars. It also had features suited for long journeys, such as numerous cloth straps for binding small tools.

The woman was fairly friendly. "I'm just passing through. May I ask why all the cities near the Red Dragon Strait are empty?"

Charlotte was slightly surprised and asked, "Didn't you see the orc camps nearby?"

The woman frowned slightly. "Of course I saw them. That is precisely what puzzles me. Can you tell me why?"

Charlotte replied, "Because the orcs launched a massive assault on Fars. Although they suffered a crushing defeat outside Strasbourg, they did not return to the Southern Continent. They merely retreated to the Red Dragon Strait, seized every Fars city, and abandoned most of them."

The woman was greatly shocked, but then angrily said, "You're lying? How could the orcs possibly attack Fars?"

Charlotte shrugged. "Believe it or not. What the hell does it have to do with me?"

Magical light flickered around the woman, but she withdrew it at once. Clearly, she had decided not to make a move. In a calmer tone, she asked, "Could you explain the full story?"
