Of course, Nalant had not dug the trench very far away—only far enough to get a little distance from the battlefield.
When he led his subordinates charging out of the trench one by one, the nearby beastmen immediately gritted their teeth in hatred.
And not just the beastmen—Daz was gritting his teeth in hatred as well.
"Roar, roar, roar! Those human insects are running! Chase them!"
"Beastman warriors, chase them!"
"Puke, that bastard Nalant is running! Let's retreat quickly!"
For a moment, roars and shouts filled the battlefield.
Nalant had become like a rat crossing the street, with everyone shouting to beat him.
But Sherry naturally would not let the beastmen pursue so easily.
She flew above the Minotaurs and Kado one last time, then took out several bottles of Beast-Attracting Potion and poured them down.
As the Beast-Attracting Potion fell, it splashed directly onto the Minotaurs, Kado, and the others, dripping over their heads and bodies.
Roar, roar, roar!
After running for so long, they had finally sensed the Beast-Attracting Potion close at hand.
The remaining hundred-odd magical beasts went completely berserk, lunging at the Minotaurs, Kado, and the other beastmen.
"Bastards! Don't let me catch you, or I'll swallow you whole!"
Before Kado could even begin pursuing them, he was surrounded by four or five magical beasts.
Though these magical beasts could not truly harm him.
The damage was slight, but the humiliation was immense, and he flew into another rage.
As for Daz and his subordinates, since the beastmen no longer had the leisure to deal with them, they took the chance to charge out of the encirclement as well.
However, although Daz had escaped the encirclement, he felt none of the relief of surviving a disaster.
All that remained in his heart was grief and indignation.
