Dismantling the Array

In the outer starry sky.

At the center of an enormous source of light, Luo Shen, with pairs of pristine white wings, slightly furrowed her dark brows.

She was looking down at the murky Sea of Mist below. The intense radiance she released could pass through the Heavenly Bans of the many worlds marked "Purgatory" and reach deep within those worlds.

She was a sovereign.

Even though her divine power weakened layer by layer as it seeped through, she could still exert her power upon special objects that resonated with her.

Such as the Bronze Box from before, the seven Heaven-Reaching Tribulation Pillars, and six other artifacts.

But as her imprints within those strange objects were erased by Pang Jian, along with his own power, the divine power of light she cast down from beyond the heavens could no longer display its might through such artifacts.

Her connection to the world of Purgatory had thus been ruthlessly severed by Pang Jian.

Within the sphere that released rings of light outward, traces of anger lingered in Luo Shen's cold, emotionless divine eyes.

For some reason, Pang Jian always seemed capable of stirring emotional fluctuations within her—emotions that should never have existed.

The crimson shadow she had created in the world of Purgatory, then obliterated due to the awakening of her divine consciousness, occasionally surfaced in her memories lately.

For a sovereign like her, merely recalling that figure named Luo Hongyan caused the traces of that figure to deepen.

Scenes of Luo Hongyan and Pang Jian meeting in Purgatory, spending time together there, and wasting away in the world below also surfaced from time to time.

Occasionally, when she was idle and bored, she would even watch those scenes with a hint of malicious amusement.
