After going to sea, they no longer had to crowd onto a shell three meters in diameter.
After the Sunset had been refitted at New Harbor Town's shipyard, the second large three-masted vessel was officially launched. Yet this ship was quite unusual: it had no sails, no masts, no oars, and no rudder. It was merely a hull frame, fitted with several large cabins and a luxurious captain's cabin at the bow.
The vessel was named Flame.
It was Liszt's second flagship, powered by A Ke's water-controlling ability.
Ever since experiencing the high-speed voyage with A Ke controlling the shell, he had been designing the Flame to make traveling with her more convenient. Especially when traveling between Black Horse Island and Dodo Island, they had to spend the night there while waiting for Rio, either in a shabby little wooden hut or in a tent they set up themselves.
But with this special Flame, they could rest in the ship's luxurious cabins.
A Ke also had a large cabin of her own to serve as a laboratory, allowing her to conduct experiments whenever she wished during their travels.
And so long as it was not a secret voyage—such as those to Mind Island and Dodo Island—they could bring servants along when traveling elsewhere and enjoy their attendance.
The Flame's maiden voyage did not bring any servants.
Only Liszt and A Ke boarded, taking up residence in the luxurious cabin at the bow. Then A Ke controlled the seawater, carrying the Flame forward like a torpedo blasting out, carving up two enormous waves before vanishing from the shore.
