Liszt also used the Magic Eye to observe it. Sure enough, just as A Ke had said, this enormous, mysterious, almost motionless great whirlpool possessed a special magical structure.
Ordinary seawater showed no obvious traces of magic power under the Magic Eye, but the great whirlpool was filled with blue-white water-element radiance. The closer one looked toward the whirlpool's center, the brighter that magical glow became. The blue light was gradually obscured by white light, and most strangely, the light seemed to have breaks in it.
It was a peculiar optical phenomenon, as though great quantities of shattered glass had been placed at the whirlpool's center, disrupting the paths of light and leaving them utterly disjointed.
"What is causing this?"
"I don't know."
"Then I'll ride Rio and use Dragon Eye Trajectory to take a look!" Liszt said at once.
"Brother, be careful. The magic power of this great whirlpool is far from ordinary. A Ke can feel it—even controlling the seawater at its edges is very difficult, and the central area cannot be controlled at all."
"Don't worry. I'll only observe it from the sky. I won't go near the sea surface."
He summoned Rio.
Rio was somewhat displeased with Liszt repeatedly disturbing its rest. "Oho!" It had been living in frustration lately. Without Dodo Island Volcano, its growth in strength had been limited, so naturally it was in a foul mood.
"Cooperate properly, and you'll be rewarded with potions when we return!"
Liszt mounted the Dragon Tooth Platform and swiftly flew toward the sky above the great whirlpool. As Dragon Eye Trajectory unfolded, the world transformed into another kind of crisp visual spectacle.
