After having a beer at the tavern and encouraging the knights to work hard at reclaiming the wilderness, Liszt headed to the Mage Tower to check on A Ke's magical experiments.
The progress was excellent.
Even after staying up all night, A Ke was still brimming with energy—mages were always remarkably spirited.
She was designing a magic array capable of tearing open the magic net. As long as the magic net could be ripped apart, it would break open a node in material space and expand a wormhole space. Then, if a node were likewise opened elsewhere and the wormhole space connected to it, a true magic teleportation array could be completed.
"Like opening a door, isn't it?" Liszt gave A Ke's description a simple name. "In that case, this experiment will be called the 'Magic Gate Project.' Continue your research. If you need anything coordinated, just tell me. Bard and I will fully support you."
"Mm, thank you, Brother."
After resting for a day, Liszt mounted the Invisible Dragon Bard the next day and began patrolling the Great Whirlpool River.
He intended to find the reclamation team led by Duerte Red Apricot, as well as uncover the eyes watching them from the shadows, to see exactly what unknown creatures dared covet the reclamation team. Whether wolves, tigers, monkeys, snakes, or anything else, anything that dared hinder the development of Flame Island would simply be exterminated.
With the Invisible Dragon Bard available for riding, Little Fire Dragon Rio appeared far less often.
In the future, Liszt's dragons would each have their own duties. Light Green Gem Dragon Isen would remain in the dragon nest to produce ore; Fire Dragon Rio would be responsible for battle; while Invisible Dragon Bard would specialize in searching. The Crystal-White Trajectory's detection of magic
