Holding the Time Scepter and riding Bard the Invisible Dragon, Liszt hid within the boundary of matter while idly feeling out the uses of the scepter in his hand. The Time Gem, gleaming with iridescent light, was exceedingly peculiar. Battle qi could not activate it at all, and whenever magic power approached its surface, it slowly dissipated.
It was as though it contained time magic condensed into eternity.
But since it had been made into a piece of magic equipment, there had to be some way to control it.
"I wonder how large the Dusk Dragon is. It should be much bigger than the Invisible Dragon, right? After all, the Time Gems it produces are fist-sized, while the Space Gems produced by the Invisible Dragon are only as big as fingernails." Shaking the scepter in his hand, Liszt's thoughts wandered abruptly.
Unfortunately, no matter how he pondered it along the way, he still could not grasp how to wield the Time Scepter. It seemed he would have to trouble A Ke after all.
With A Ke's status as a magister, her ever-growing store of knowledge, and her clever mind, deciphering how to use the Time Scepter should not be difficult.
After returning to Kindling Town, before he could find A Ke, he received a rather shocking piece of news from the Magic Guild. Kelly Truth personally reported to him, "Your Highness, we have deciphered how ancient magicians passed down magic. Many ancient Moon-Slayer magicians were far less gifted than modern magicians, yet they still successfully comprehended magic. What they relied on was 'magic dust.'"
"Magic dust?" Liszt did not understand.
What Kelly said next left him utterly stunned. "Magic dust can improve a magician's affinity with magic power, and the raw material used to make magic dust is... elves!"
"Elves?"
