Over the next two days, Liszt and A Ke remained in the valley, getting acquainted with the Unicorn.
Bone Dragon Vini, Fire Dragon Rio, and Invisible Dragon Bard were bored out of their minds, scattered around the outskirts of the valley, each occupying a patch of territory to rest in. To avoid alarming the Pegasus herd, Liszt did not let them approach the heart of the valley.
A Ke got along extremely well with the Unicorn and had basically become familiar with all of its wondrous traits.
But when it came to Liszt, he could not even touch the Unicorn. Even with A Ke speaking up for him, the Unicorn still refused to let Liszt lay a hand on it, much less let him ride it and see how it felt.
"Got character. I like it." Liszt could only force a dry laugh to hide his embarrassment.
Usually, he was the one riding dragons while others watched in envy. Now A Ke was riding a Unicorn while he watched in envy. Sure enough, thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river.

The Unicorn could not be ridden, but he could ride the Pegasi and Storm Dragon Horses as he pleased. A Ke could have the Unicorn order the Pegasi not to resist. Thus, over the past two days, Liszt had ridden all three Storm Dragon Horses and personally gathered a batch of the fodder Pegasi liked to feed them.
With the Unicorn keeping them in line, coupled with the lure of fodder, the three Storm Dragon Horses no longer resisted Liszt and could be ridden at his whim.
