Plague Exterminators are humanity's specialized force against Pestilence. Official-level practitioners form the principal combat force in extermination operations, using spiritual power to perform Plague Extermination Arts. 346

Their work is not limited to direct combat:

• Epidemic prevention — resisting infection, suppressing pathogenization, and protecting populated areas. 37 103

Epidemic Prevention Centers

Epidemic Prevention Centers employ both ordinary staff and Plague Exterminators. Clerical workers occupy the lowest labor tier, while Official-level Plague Exterminators stand at the top of the local hierarchy. 37

Epidemic War Corps

Epidemic War Corps combine Plague Exterminators from different disciplines. Their coordination is considered essential against Dragon-class Pestilences and the numerous complications those entities command. 273

Dark Plague Extermination World

Not all Plague Exterminators serve official institutions. Underground practitioners are often more experienced in plague combat and more willing to take risks, though their methods may be unpredictable or criminal. 192 740

• A Plague Exterminator's spiritual power is finite; even specialists in sustained combat cannot fight an endless tide of pestilence indefinitely. 931
