Tsunade's Choice

In Cloud Village, at the Ninja Academy.

"Sister Yugito, I want to graduate with you!" a small boy tightly gripped the girl's hand.

The girl had long, straight, light brown hair, usually tied into braids. Her face was delicate, and her skin was fair and tender.

"Konosuke, stop fooling around. You're still too young, how can you graduate!"

Yugito Nii looked at the child gently. Others avoided her like the plague, never daring to get close, all because the Two-Tails was sealed within her!

Tailed Beasts were embodiments of ferocity and hatred, possessing immense power that people feared.

Ever since the Tailed Beast was sealed within her at the age of two, she had been ostracized by the villagers, met with ridicule and curses. This lonely environment forced her to grow up quickly!

But Konosuke was special. He was the only one willing to get close to her, offering her warmth, and even proclaiming, "When I grow up, I'm going to marry you, Sister Yugito!" which left her amused and exasperated.

Konosuke turned Yugito Nii's face towards him, looked her directly in the eyes, and said solemnly, "Sister, I'm serious. And also, I will definitely marry you when I grow up!"

After speaking, he hugged Yugito Nii tightly and lay in her arms.

Yugito Nii was full of helplessness. Both of them were orphans. After they grew close, Konosuke had pestered her to be his older sister, and she had agreed.

However, thinking of his goal, Yugito Nii's face flushed with embarrassment. Oh well, we'll see about that later!

After school, Konosuke waited for Yugito Nii to leave together.

"Look, it's those two monsters, one big monster and one small monster, hanging out together!"

The petite Shizune watched from the side.

A young man pushed the door open and walked in. He had short black hair, a delicate face, and no forehead protector, so he wasn't a ninja. The patrons paid him no mind.

Unexpectedly, the young man walked directly towards Tsunade. The surrounding patrons looked on with curiosity, admiring the beauty. But anyone who dared to approach her would surely be beaten up, as everyone knew she was the violent "Princess Tsunade"!

The little Shizune blushed as she looked at the young man, "He's so handsome!"

The young man was Su Zheng. He walked to Tsunade's table, placed a photo down, and said with a smile, "Hello, Lady Tsunade!"

Tsunade was about to get angry, but her gaze swept over the photo and she couldn't look away.

In the photo, two young men had their arms around each other's shoulders. One of them had dark brown hair and brown eyes, radiating a happy smile.

These features, this smile, it was undoubtedly Nawaki, just grown taller!

Tsunade stared intently at the young man and asked, "Who exactly are you? And who is the person in this photo?"

It was as if she had grasped a lifeline. After countless nights of waking up startled, how she wished her brother were still alive, even if he didn't become a ninja in the future!

Su Zheng offered a gentle smile and said, "Lady Tsunade, please don't rush. I'd like you to meet someone!"

Tsunade immediately got to her feet, pulling Shizune with her as they headed outside. The surrounding patrons didn't understand what was happening, only lamenting that such beauty was slipping away before their eyes!

In the forest.

Tsunade looked directly at Su Zheng and asked, "Where is he? Where is he?"

Su Zheng formed hand signs, "Summoning Jutsu!"

A cloud of white smoke dissipated, and a young man appeared.

Tsunade stepped forward and observed him closely. His appearance had changed slightly, but if Nawaki were alive, he would look like this!

"Nawaki, why did you leave your sister alone? Do you know how I've spent these past few years?" Tsunade pulled Nawaki into her embrace, weeping uncontrollably as she recounted her hardships over the years.

"No, you're not Nawaki. Who are you?" A moment later, Tsunade pushed Nawaki away and questioned him.

How could this be possible? She had personally seen Nawaki's corpse, and Orochimaru was present at the scene. How could Nawaki possibly still be alive!

Nawaki looked at Tsunade, somewhat bewildered. This woman had grabbed him and cried the moment she saw him, and now she was saying inexplicable things!

In reality, this was all part of Su Zheng's strategy. Although Nawaki had been resurrected, Su Zheng had sealed all of his memories. This was the only way to change Nawaki's future and to hold leverage in his negotiations with Tsunade!

Su Zheng stepped forward, slinging an arm around Nawaki's shoulders, and said, "This really is Nawaki!"

Seeing Tsunade's look of disbelief, he continued, "This was all my plan..."

He explained his jutsu, which he had infused into Nawaki, and told Tsunade that Nawaki's death had been a substitution.

Tsunade's expression gradually shifted, and she angrily demanded, "Who exactly are you? How did you know Nawaki was going to die, and that you happened to be prepared?"

Su Zheng presented his prepared explanation, "I am someone from another world. Due to damage to my body in a future war, I transformed into Su Zheng to repair myself..."

Su Zheng recounted the story of the Divine Tree, the Ten-Tails, the Otsutsuki Clan... Coming from Earth, he was, of course, someone from another world!

Tsunade listened, her emotions in turmoil. To think that such stories existed in this world.

Nawaki had only just returned. She couldn't bear to see him harmed again. Tsunade lowered her fist.

She calmly asked, "What do you want me to help you with?"

"Help me train medical talent!" Su Zheng said calmly.

"That's all? I won't help you fight against the Leaf Village!" Tsunade stated.

"Of course. I won't force anyone to do things they dislike!"
