He did not finish, but the implication was obvious.

Dumbledore turned to glance at him. In the moonlight, the lines of his profile looked somewhat hard. "I know."

The old man said only those three words and nothing more.

He looked at Grindelwald, who gave a slight nod to indicate that she was ready.

Dumbledore extended a hand and placed it on Grindelwald's shoulder. The gesture made the eyelids of both Aurors twitch, but Dumbledore ignored them.
