Not in a good mood.
Ian passed through the corridor below Great Hall. The torches on the walls on both sides were burning brightly, and the various decorative paintings showed the lifelike appearance of countless delicacies.
When he arrived in front of a huge fruit painting, Ian scratched the pear in the painting, and the pear painted with paint twisted like a door handle with a ticklish smile.
Open the door and enter inside.
A room with the same layout as Great Hall appeared in front of Ian. The interior was extremely spacious, with various copper pots and iron pots hanging under the high ceiling.
They sway gently with the occasional breeze, making a pleasant tinkling sound.
On the huge stone stove, the flames automatically adjust their size under the influence of magic, cooking a variety of delicacies, from traditional English breakfast to exotic dishes.
I don't know which groups the extra meals are for.
"It's a first-year little wizard!"
"Ravenclaw Table is the gentleman who likes steak!"
"He is so smart, he discovered Hogwarts's kitchen on the first day!"
There were also many strange creatures in the room, with large ears that were not proportional to their heads at all, and eyes that protruded from their faces like the eyes of a frog and were about the size of a fist.
With their pointed noses, chopstick-like hands and feet, and iconic linen clothes, they are the famous House-elf in the wizarding world, a defeated person from the past who has been transformed by magic into the minds of generations.
Before Ian could say hello to these House-elf, a figure carrying a big basin came out of the slaughterhouse. He was much taller than Ian as an adult.
Ronnie. Erich.
Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher.
Today is the second time Ian has met this professor.
"Good evening, Ian."
Carrying a basin of something covered with oilcloth, which exuded a fishy smell, he walked towards the gate and saw Ian, and he actually called out Ian's name accurately.
"Good evening, Professor Erich."
While Ian responded politely, he also had some doubts in his heart. Apparently when he saw this professor at noon, he still had a colder attitude than Snape.
Why are you suddenly so passionate now?
"Go back early, the curfew time is coming soon. Although I fully support the little wizard's night tour, the administrator Filch will definitely not let you go."
"Be careful, that Squib doesn't have any good intentions towards us wizards." Ronnie. Erich even patted Ian on the shoulder when he walked to the gate, smiling broadly and looking in a very good mood.
"I will be wary of this." Ian nodded.
Ronnie. Erich seems to be very satisfied with Ian's wording.
"Don't be late tomorrow Defence Against the Dark Arts, I have prepared good practice props for you."
Teacher Defence Against the Dark Arts touched Ian's head with approval, and then left the kitchen with his large basin of unknown fishy stuff that was still bleeding out.
"Sir, what would you like to eat? Dobby and Dobby's companions are honored to serve you!" House-elf waited for Ronnie. Erich to leave before they dared to get close to Ian.
"Let's have steak, and a glass of lemonade, without honey." Ian's choice made House-elf named Dobby cheer, and several House-elf started to get busy.
"I know this gentleman likes to eat steak. Dobby is the qualified House-elf who knows how to observe!" The one House-elf with the biggest ears is Dobby.
He chose a large piece of delicate filet for Ian and started cooking it sizzlingly on the hot iron plate. Another House-elf respectfully handed Ian lemonade.
"That's the flavor! It's awesome!"
Ian's face was a little awkward, but his tone was very satisfactory.
"Robby also knows that Mr. likes to drink Sour Lemon! Robby is also a qualified House-elf!" House-elf, who handed over the lemonade, also started cheering happily.
With all their heart and soul, House-elf has been serving wizards since he was born. Hogwarts is the one who completes many of the chores and dirty work.
Appear quietly.
Then quietly disappear.
What will be left behind will be the perfect work results.
Many young wizards may not be aware of their existence during several years of study, and will only hear about how diligent and outstanding House-elf's Hogwarts are.
In fact, it is not just these strange creatures of Hogwarts, House-elf in other places are almost all of the same character. They regard their service to the servants as an honor.
This is the "coding" that has been magically written into the "gene".
It is the victory harvested by the wizards after the ancient war.
"Yes, it's very good. I like it very much." Ian gave a thumbs up, making House-elf named Robby hold his hands as if he was about to faint from happiness.
"Robby was praised by Mr. Ravenclaw. Robby thinks Mr. is really a generous little wizard!" House-elf Robby's high-pitched voice was full of excitement.
Their race is like this, they will feel happy because of praise, and they will feel happy because of work. The one Harry. Potter encountered probably had a genetic mutation.
"Give me another drink!"
As a vested interest, Ian certainly doesn't want to change anything. If work can make House-elf happy, how can they be considered abused?
Those calls for the liberation of House-elf may not be a betrayal of the wizards, but in Ian's view, the final result will most likely be another round of war.
This is the law of nature.
Races will never be allowed to exist side by side at the top of the food chain.
"Sir! Your steak!"
House-elf Dobby put the perfectly cooked steak on a delicate plate, carefully placed the knife and fork, and brought it to the table where Ian was sitting like a treasure.
"The craftsmanship is great!"
Ian was not stingy with his praise and gave House-elf Dobby a thumbs up. It also danced happily like another House-elf.
Simple praise can satisfy these House-elfs. Many times, people's lives are actually not as comfortable as theirs.
"I hope you can come again next time, sir! Robby is always available to serve you!"
"Dobby is the same!"
Ian before preparing to leave.
Several House-elf happily stood at the door to see him off.
"Grateful to the ancestors, grateful to Founders, grateful to Hogwarts." Ian used the unique lazy pace after eating and drinking, and returned to Ravenclaw holding Snape's notebook.
There is no one around.
Already under curfew.
"I've been waiting for this opportunity all day. It's time for you to answer me why." Bronze Eagle Knocker on the door asked, but he didn't ask any interesting questions.
"Ah?"
Ian, who was all prepared for a philosophical debate, had a look of astonishment on his face.
"Is this a test?"
Ian Test in a low voice?
The little heart is beating fast.
"No, I just hold a grudge."
Knocker Bronze Eagle Knocker shook his head.
The voice is still soft.
