No surprises.
Ian went back to the lounge and hid the box in the suitcase, and then cast a concealment spell on the suitcase, completely missing Hogwarts's entire dinner time.
The cold wind is blowing outside the castle.
Ian is not the kind of little wizard who would choose to go hungry. The kitchen directly below Great Hall can completely solve the problem, but he still chose to take a detour to the basement of the castle first.
"Boom!"
Ian found the destination and knocked on the door.
No one responded.
"It's me, Professor Snape, I'm Ian, the first place chosen by you personally on Potions Class today." Ian shouted at the office behind the door with a loud voice.
After a while.
The office door was opened.
The unkempt Snape stood at the gate with an expressionless face.
Behind him is a room that is almost as messy as his personal image. It is shaped like three huge hemispheres buckled together, and the shelves along the wall are filled with various glass jars.
"Prince, it's time to go to bed soon. If you don't want to be arrested and locked up by me, the only place you can appear now is Ravenclaw's lounge." The old bat pronounced the name "Ravenclaw" very strongly, sarcastically, but also with a vague resentment that he couldn't let go.
"Can confinement teach me something new? The kind that can't be learned in textbooks." Ian looked up at Snape in front of him, his green eyes full of expectation.
"..."
The corners of Snape's eyes twitched, "If you can't correct your attitude towards Potions, you will never be able to learn real skills from me."
His voice was as cold as ever.
"Then I will apologize now and maintain a good attitude." Ian realized that there was a surprise in Snape's words. He immediately stood outside the door, bent vertically at 90 degrees, and maintained his posture for several minutes.
This is the shock that comes from the spirit of craftsmanship.
Snape opened his mouth with a weird expression, but still couldn't find the words to express. He looked at Ian repeatedly, and his eyes with complicated emotions swayed slightly.
"If this is the purpose of your coming here." Snape turned around and walked into the house, opened the drawer of his desk, and took out a very old-looking black book.
"Take it and stay away from my office immediately." He threw the old book to Ian who followed him in, and said in an extremely stiff tone.
"This book was originally used for another purpose, but now it was taken away by you in a shameless way. Therefore, for the end-of-semester exam, you will get a test question that is different from other little wizards."
"If it doesn't satisfy me... hum." Snape used enough white space to create a sense of tension, but he was not able to see the effect he wanted to see on Ian.
"Who is Half-Blood Prince?" Ian caught the <Advanced Potion-Making> thrown by Snape, and he saw a small line of words in a conspicuous position on the back cover.
Is this the one Harry. Potter got?
Ian's feigned surprise asked made Snape's face turn red visibly.
"That's Prince from Half-blood, idiot!"
Snape rushed over aggressively, grabbed the black book in Ian's hand, and used Quill on the desk to roughly smear the writing on the back cover of the book clean.
"I thought you would be much smarter than your bastard father!" After repeated checks and no trace of writing could be seen, Snape savagely thrust <Advanced Potion-Making> back into Ian's hands.
"Is it my father's?"
Ian Asked knowingly.
He had actually been speculating about the relationship between himself and Snape. Now, the answer seemed to have been completely revealed before his eyes in a sudden way that he had not expected.
So that's it.
Sure enough... so.
Ian's guess has finally been conclusively verified. Until now, some things have always been just conjectures like castles in the air before there is evidence.
"Tsk, tsk, your father's Troll head can only follow the same script as you. This is one of my collections, from the outstanding Potions Master of a certain generation of your family." Snape obviously underestimated the amount of information Ian had. He secretly smuggled the private goods in front of Ian without blushing or heartbeat.
"Professor, didn't you just destroy a master's signature?" Ian's sudden speech made Snape, who had a sarcastic face, speechless for a moment.
"I am better than him, so I am naturally qualified."
A very far-fetched reason.
Ian Pretend to believe.
"If you can spend more time in the library instead of discussing the making of dangerous objects with some little wizards, you can understand what kind of family you are born into."
Snape wanted to change the subject, but he once again resumed his slow and sarcastic attitude, with a hint of hatred in his tone.
"I borrowed <Brief Records of Hogwarts Students Through the Ages>, but I haven't had time to turn it over yet." Ian confirmed from Snape's words that Snape was not his father.
"Is there anyone alive in our family?"
He suddenly spoke in a low voice, causing Snape's expression to freeze slightly.
"If so, do you think you will still appear in the orphanage?" Snape's expression was a little unnatural, and he avoided Ian's light green eyes.
"Who did it?"
Ian actually has no memory of his parents in this life, but this does not mean that he can turn a blind eye to it. The revenge of destroying the family will eventually require someone to bear responsibility.
"Do what you should do and study the textbooks you should learn well." Snape did not answer Ian's question, but tried to drag Ian out of his office.
"Wait!"
Ian resisted the door that Snape intended to close.
"I've answered a lot of questions for you, aren't you satisfied, Mr. Busy Bustler?" Snape looked down at Ian outside the door, his attitude even colder than at the beginning.
"I'm actually here to pay you back." Ian said as he took out a large bag of gold coins from his trouser pocket and stuffed it into Snape's hands in the eyes of Snape with great astonishment.
"Did you sell Felix Felicis?" For such a huge sum of money, this was the only situation Snape could think of. He felt that selling Felix Felicis was like the bastard thing Ian could do.
Snape stared at Ian.
Even when he saw Ian shaking his head in denial, his angry eyes were full of disbelief.
"I'm not that stupid." In order not to be resented by Snape, Ian had no choice but to show his trouser pockets and several small pockets on the inside of his robe.
There are still many gold coins shining in Winky.
"I found Hogwarts's secret treasure and achieved positive growth in personal wealth." Ian lowered his voice, and Snape inside the gate was full of disbelief.
Can you still find hidden gold coins in Hogwarts?
How come he doesn't know?
"I will find someone to inquire about. If I know that you have committed a shameful theft, or used magic to threaten other young wizards to hand over all the gold coins you have, I will personally send you to Azkaban for imprisonment. You should have gone there long ago." I don't know what kind of image Ian is in Snape's mind.
"Do you know what the romantic legacy of the medieval treasure hunt craze is? How can the treasure gold coins picked up be called stealing!" Ian had the urge to jump up and knock Snape on the head.
"It's best that way."
Snape wanted to hand the money bag back to Ian, but Ian jumped back slightly to avoid it. He sneered disdainfully and threw the money bag to Ian with contemptuous eyes.
"Do you think I care about these three melons and two dates?"
Potions Master's confidence is indeed extraordinary. He has an inhumane attitude and regards money as dirt. As everyone knows, when dealing with a character like his, Ian has already summed up practical experience.
"Three melons and two dates, you want to sell me a favor? What a beautiful idea you have." Ian rolled the money bag from Snape's crotch into the office. His words made the veins on Snape's forehead straighten up.
"Get out of here!"
Snape was furious and slammed the door.
A few seconds later.
There was a gap in the door, and the <Advanced Potion-Making> that accidentally fell to the ground because Snape was a little hungry and picked up Ian arrogantly was thrown out.
"Bang!"
The door was closed harder.
"Potions family..."
Ian sighed lightly, his expression calmed down, he calmly picked up the precious book on the ground, and just stood there, staring at the place that was completely obliterated by Snape.
"The extermination of my family after I was born, was it Voldemort's hand, or...?" He recalled in his mind Snape's unnatural words and deeds many times just now.
"My only remaining uncle."
A deserted and empty corridor.
He couldn't answer the murmur in the little wizard's heart.
