Background / History

Li Chun serves as Lin Hui's homeroom teacher at Notting Academy. Before Lin Hui's first soul-ring hunt, he had generally accommodated Yu Xiaogang because of Yu's relationship with the academy dean. However, he chose to support Lin Hui after the student insisted on pursuing his own path as a soul master. 3

He personally accompanied Lin Hui into the Soul Hunting Forest and used his strength to subdue several soul beasts, allowing Lin Hui to attempt ring absorption. When ordinary soul rings repeatedly dissipated instead of being absorbed, Li Chun remained concerned and encouraged Lin Hui rather than blaming him. 3
