Background / History

Snow Empress meets Qian Qizhou after he loses his way and accidentally enters the Far North. While being pursued by a hundred-thousand-year soul beast, he encounters her and forms a friendship. Their earlier connection allows her to recognize his distinctive aura and rescue him when he deliberately creates a large disturbance near the Far North 17.

Before her breakthrough, she has long restrained her cultivation to delay a Heavenly Tribulation she does not expect to survive alone. She investigates Qian Qizhou’s unusual elemental authority by testing lightning- and fire-attribute soul beasts around him; neither element can approach him normally, and both display submission.
