Background / History

Ning Fengzhi received the severely injured Qian Qizhou at the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect after Guang Ling brought him there for treatment. His examination found Qian Qizhou’s meridians full of fine cracks and nearly collapsed from violent energy exceeding the child’s physical limits. Ning Fengzhi used the Seven Treasures Glazed Pagoda to mend the damaged meridians and pacify the residual energy, then advised Qian Qizhou not to use spirit power recklessly during recovery 5.

When Qian Qizhou revealed himself as the Pope’s son and Qian Daoliu’s grandson, Ning Fengzhi was visibly shocked but quickly recovered his composure. He listened to Qian Qizhou’s proposal for a deal rather than allowing his concerns about Spirit Hall to dictate his response 7.

He agreed to fund Qian Qizhou’s future expenses in exchange for the latter’s promise of future combat support, calling it an investment in “the future number one soul master of the world.” He later accepted responsibility for supplying the immense amount of building material needed for Qian Qizhou’s personal spatial domain 8 10.

After Ei sealed and altered the space around the Seven Treasures Glazed Sect, Ning Fengzhi and the sect’s protectors recognized that they could neither undo nor resist her actions.
