Background / History

Fule was traveling to assume a post at Hailun City's primary spirit master academy when he was ambushed by ten bandits. Though he killed six and badly wounded four others, he was seriously injured and collapsed by the roadside. Luo Dashan rescued him, and the two traveled to Hailun City together, forming a brotherly bond despite Luo Dashan being an ordinary man. 2

After meeting Luo Chen, Fule immediately recognized that the boy had surpassed level ten and showed unusual discernment toward his contract-type Gulu Ball Martial Soul. He accepted Luo Chen's claim of having absorbed a hundred-year first spirit ring and later identified the summoned Evil Eye as a rare mental-type soul beast. 2 3

Believing that remaining in Hailun City would waste Luo Chen's potential, Fule used his connections with the Heaven Dou Junior Soul Master Academy to secure him a work-study position. His recommendation drew the attention of Meng Shenji, who personally assessed Luo Chen and accepted him as a disciple. 3 4

Fule subsequently became Hailun City's city lord while retaining his connection to the local junior soul master academy.
