The three SSS-rank quests could be said to be the key to elevating the Star-Moon Kingdom.
If the Star-Moon Kingdom could be promoted to an empire, then Zero Wing, as the Star-Moon Kingdom's number one Guild, would rise along with it. That would be far easier than fighting over territory on other Guilds' turf.
Moreover, a kingdom being promoted to an empire brought many benefits.
One of them concerned the neutral maps surrounding the kingdom.
In God's Domain, the neutral maps covered a greater area than all kingdoms and empires combined. Every one of these places was a high-level region, and many were resource-rich areas. Thus, once players reached Level 50, they would gradually shift their leveling grounds to these neutral maps.
There were very few maps above Level 100 within kingdoms, and even empires did not have many. Developing in neutral maps was therefore only a matter of time. However, when a kingdom was promoted to an empire, it would annex these maps and place them under the new empire's jurisdiction. Leveling on these neutral maps would then become much easier.
This was especially true for NPC cities established on neutral maps. In the previous life, every one of them had become a major city with over three million players. Shallow Abyss Hills, the neutral map claimed by the Golden Sand Empire, had even produced a city with a player population of ten million, allowing the Guild of the epic-ranked adventurer who completed the SSS-rank quest to make an absolute fortune.
After all, land in newly established NPC cities was not something one could simply buy at will. Players needed to attain a certain level of kingdom reputation, or gain the status of a great noble in that new NPC city. It was simply impossible for outside Guilds to
