While Shi Feng was momentarily stunned, Water Rose quickly noticed this Tier 4 Magician as well. Her eyes filled with surprise, but a trace of disappointment soon flashed through them.
For no other reason than the gray-robed old man's potential.
"What a pity." Water Rose could not help sighing. "A Tier 4 class is certainly powerful, but Mithril Grade potential ultimately won't carry him very far down the road."
Normally, Bronze Grade and Mystic Iron Grade NPCs had essentially reached their limit upon becoming Tier 3. Although Mithril Grade potential was far superior to Bronze Grade and Mystic Iron Grade, reaching Tier 4 was more or less its limit as well. The hope of advancing to Tier 5 was exceedingly slim.
Now that Tier 3 classes were becoming increasingly common, it would not be long before the top experts of the various superpowers began challenging Tier 4. By then, Tier 4 NPCs would have very limited value, much less Tier 4 NPCs with Mithril Grade potential. In terms of combat power, they were only about equal to Tier 4 top experts fully equipped with gear and skills. Even if they were stronger, the difference would be quite limited.
"A pity?" Hearing this, Shi Feng merely shook his head inwardly with a laugh and said nothing.
