After leaving the Dead Silence Forest, Shi Feng's party hurried toward Dark Moon Valley without a moment's rest.
At this stage, many players had reached level 2. Aside from running dungeons in the Dead Silence Forest, they were mostly farming level 2 Leopard Cubs in the Brook Hills. Only a very small number of experts would venture to the level 4 Dark Moon Valley to level up, but as everyone's levels increased, it wouldn't be long before Dark Moon Valley was fully occupied.
After spending over half an hour returning to Dark Moon Valley, the situation was exactly as Shi Feng had predicted.
Several elite parties uninterested in dungeons were farming the wandering level 4 Kobolds on the outskirts of the valley. These elite parties were quite skilled; they would aggro two or three at a time, with the Shield Warrior holding the line firmly to keep the Kobolds away from the magic-based healers. The healers in the rear continuously cast heals, barely managing to keep the Shield Warrior's HP stable while the others unleashed frantic damage. By the end of a pull, the Shield Warrior would be at low health and the healer would have consumed over a third of their mana, forcing them to sit down to eat and drink.
Although this method of farming was resource-intensive, the returns were decent, with the three Kobolds dropping 2 coppers and some Stone Material.
In God's Domain, only mobs level 3 and above dropped skill books and Bronze Equipment. Even though the drop rate was only one in ten thousand, it still drove players into a frenzy. Bronze Equipment was very valuable right now, not to mention skill books. With these temptations, even if it was dangerous, experts would still flock here.
After watching for a few moments, Shi Feng turned and headed toward the depths of Dark Moon Valley.
The other members of the party were still nervous about the unknown depths of the valley, especially seeing level 4 monsters everywhere, which made their breathing quicken. However, Heizi remained calm upon seeing these level 4 Kobolds; having killed hundreds of them previously, he didn't feel the same tension as the other members facing them for the first time, and he followed Shi Feng into the depths of the valley without hesitation.
As for the elite party farming the Kobolds, they couldn't help but be surprised to see Shi Feng's party walking into the depths of the valley, not expecting the newcomers to be so bold.
Dark Moon Valley had very few players right now and hadn't been fully explored. There were a massive number of Kobolds in the valley, and the further one went, the more there were. Some groups even clustered in packs of over ten. Farming there was too dangerous, and one would have to face at least four or five Kobolds at a time; if they died once, it wouldn't be worth it.
Unfortunately, these people didn't know that Shi Feng was even crazier than they imagined.
Shi Feng wasn't just going deep into the valley, but to the core of Dark Moon Valley, where there was an excellent farming spot. Not only was the monster density high and the respawn time fast, but most importantly, the yield of ore was high.
Regarding his knowledge of Dark Moon Valley, Shi Feng could be called the local deity. He had spent a great deal of time in his past life researching what monsters were in which areas, how many there were, and their respawn times, all to ensure his party's farming speed and to elevate his status within the Shadow Studio.
Life was truly interesting; the things Shi Feng did for Shadow in his past life were now helping his current self, allowing his own party to level up quickly while also guaranteeing a steady supply of ore.
Moving along the gravel path, four or five level 4 Kobolds would pop up from time to time, but with the equipment of Shi Feng's party, it was a piece of cake.
The Guardian Knight Kele could now easily tank 4 Kobolds, regardless of his HP or defense. The healer Sleepy Sloth maintained Kele's HP above 80% without much effort. If any monsters leaked through, Lonely As Snow would intercept them, and the others would unleash frantic damage. A single sword strike from Shi Feng dealt over a hundred damage, and Heizi's Shadow Arrow hit for 88 damage. It was simply too easy.
In no time at all, the five Kobolds were finished, performing far better than the elite party outside.
Shi Feng casually picked up the dropped Stone Material and ore, then continued deeper into Dark Moon Valley.
After traveling for over a full hour, Shi Feng's party finally arrived before a hundred-meter-tall mountain. The area around the mountain was filled with Wandering Goblins instead of Kobolds. These Wandering Goblins held small shovels, constantly digging into the mountain's rock face, while several Goblin Overseers patrolled the area with whips in hand.
"Brother Feng, there are too many monsters here. Are we really going to farm here?"
Heizi looked around, his heart trembling slightly. He discovered that there were at least several hundred Wandering Goblins on the wide mountain terrain, along with several level 5 Goblin Overseers. Compared to the groups of ten or so Kobolds outside, this was practically a battlefield.
Kele also swallowed hard, worrying, "Captain, I'm not bragging, but six or seven is my limit. I really can't handle this many."
It wasn't just Heizi and Kele; the others were also very worried. The entire mountain was covered in Wandering Goblins, and they were positioned very close to each other. If they accidentally pulled the wrong ones, they would be facing hundreds of level 4 monsters—that was far more terrifying than the Lord-ranked Ferrot.
"I know you can't tank them, but who told you to tank hundreds of Goblins?" Shi Feng rolled his eyes at them. He knew his party's level perfectly well; dealing with ten at once was about their limit, so how could they possibly take on hundreds?
If hundreds of level 4 monsters swarmed them, even a level 10 player would be finished.
However, there was a saying: if you can't beat them, can't you just run?
His Agility was over 30 points, and with his Bronze-grade boots, his movement speed was significantly higher than the level 4 Goblins. He could easily kite them, then let Heizi use his Hellfire area-of-effect skill, which would be several times more efficient than solo farming.
Shi Feng then explained the plan to everyone, telling Heizi to seize the right moment to maximize the effect of Hellfire, while the others would be responsible for attacking the low-health Goblins.
After choosing a good position, Shi Feng grabbed a handful of stones and charged toward a nearby Goblin Overseer.
As soon as he got within 20 yards, the Goblin Overseer began to shriek, drawing the attention of many Wandering Goblins in the vicinity. Shi Feng waited for a moment, dodging the Goblin Overseer's long whip, allowing the surrounding Wandering Goblins to gather together.
Once about 30 had gathered, Shi Feng turned and ran toward another area, then threw a small stone to hit another Goblin Overseer. That Goblin Overseer also roared, bringing its twenty-plus minions to charge at Shi Feng.
Having pulled nearly sixty monsters, Shi Feng still wasn't satisfied and began kiting them around the mountain. In less than five minutes, hundreds of Wandering Goblins and over ten Goblin Overseers were trailing behind Shi Feng, chasing him in a massive, unstoppable wave.
Unfortunately, Shi Feng's equipment was too good, and his speed was at least 30% faster than these Goblins. Combined with his superior technique and control, he could play with these Goblins however he liked.
"Heizi, get ready to cast," Shi Feng reminded him while looking at Heizi in the distance.
"You got it!" Heizi was incredibly excited. This was his first time using an area-of-effect magic spell, and he didn't know how the effect would turn out.
As Heizi's fingers traced patterns in the air, shining magic runes appeared, forming a dazzling magic circle with an imposing aura.
After Heizi uttered the final syllable, the earth shook, and emerald-green flames erupted into the sky, swallowing the entire Goblin army. Damage numbers of over 100 popped up in waves. In 5 seconds, the hundreds of Goblins had all taken over 200 damage, leaving them with less than half their HP.
However, the Goblins' target had changed; they were no longer chasing Shi Feng, but Heizi.
Suddenly, Shi Feng stopped, drew Abyssal Walker, and charged forward.
Wind Thunder Flash!
The level 4 Wind Thunder Flash not only had a shorter cooldown, but its attack range had also increased to 15*3 yards, almost covering the entire Goblin army.
Three bolts of lightning pierced through the Goblin army, and three damage numbers exceeding 120 appeared, consuming the last of the Goblins' HP. The remaining Goblins were quickly pulled by Kele, and Lonely As Snow rushed in with a Whirlwind, finishing them all off.
Hundreds of Goblins died, dropping items all over the ground.
Everyone's experience points grew frantically, and the dozens of experience points popping up for each kill were enough to dazzle anyone's eyes.
With a whoosh, Heizi leveled up to 3.
"That felt amazing!" Heizi roared in excitement.
"This is just the beginning. They'll all respawn in a while," Shi Feng laughed. "Let's hurry up and pick up the loot."
The group immediately began to get busy. With the drops from hundreds of Goblins, even with 6 people picking them up, it would take a long time.
However, just as they started, a Goblin driving a giant robot suddenly appeared. The Goblin's face was bright red with fury, and it charged straight at Shi Feng's party.
"Not good, it's a Risk Goblin! Everyone scatter!" Shi Feng shouted the moment he saw the giant robot.
