Background / History
Glaze Fairy waits at the Horse Post Pavilion outside sealed-off Loushan City for Zhao Erhu, an old acquaintance who can guide her into the city. She is investigating reports of evil spirits, disappearances, and escalating demonic activity in the region 1 3.
At the pavilion, she is ambushed by six Blood Demon Path cultivators and a hidden demon beneath the ground. Her sword initially pierces one attacker, but the ambush is designed to disarm and surround her. Wuming intervenes, using her immortal sword to kill the attackers before they can overwhelm her 3 4.
After examining the corpses, she identifies the attackers as remnants of the Blood Demon Path, a demonic lineage believed absent from the Nine Provinces for a thousand years 5. She then travels with Wuming and Zhao Erhu into Loushan City, where Blood Demon Beasts repeatedly attack their carriage 5 7 8.
Glaze Fairy deduces that the enemy is expending a forbidden Blood Demon Path art to impede them because the mastermind is likely concealed near Commander Wu. At the Commander's Mansion, she identifies the hidden demonic cultivator among Wu's household and works with Wuming to capture her, ending the immediate crisis in Loushan City 7 9 13.

Personality
Glaze Fairy is initially aloof, skeptical, and impatient, particularly when she first assesses Wuming as an apparently weak Imperial Observatory constable. Despite her cold manner, she remains civil to allies and accepts help when the situation demands it 2 3 5.
She is a composed and capable investigator. Rather than treating the Blood Demon Beast attacks as isolated incidents, she analyzes the enemy's use of forbidden arts and correctly infers that their real objective is to prevent her from reaching Commander Wu 5 7.
Her detached nature begins to waver after the Loushan City incident. Wuming's assistance and abrupt departure leave her confused by an unfamiliar sense of loss and attraction 13.
