Once Kamar-Taj's mages graduated, the first thing they learned before joining a dimensional war was one ironclad truth: never fight a prolonged battle on the enemy's home ground. This was also the main reason Kamar-Taj always adopted a defensive stance when facing dimensional invasions.

Even powerhouses like the Ancient One and Xiang Qian, who could not be constrained by common sense, largely followed Kamar-Taj's universal truth.

That was true enough in ordinary dimensional wars, let alone when facing an existence on Death's level.

Within the Hell Dimension and under Death's attack, the only thing Xiang Qian needed to do was find a way out as quickly as possible.

The red glow of the Reality Stone enveloped the three of them, barely keeping the "black smoke" at bay. But just as Death had said, this was her domain. The surrounding space was entirely under her control, leaving Xiang Qian and the others nowhere to go.

A long defense was bound to fail. The Reality Stone could not protect them forever, much less allow them to strike back and win by relying on the Stone.
