Zhao Fu and Wu Ying fought fiercely, each unveiling powerful shamanic abilities. The chapter ended with Zhao Fu revealing an Immortal Venerable inheritance identical to Wu Ying’s.
Zhao Fu revealed that he also possessed the Immortal Venerable's inheritance and defeated Wu Ying in their battle. After absorbing her bloodline and inheritance power, he brought the weakened Wu Ying down to claim the Shaman Clan's inheritance, leaving the others afraid of him.
After defeating Wu Ying, Zhao Fu cleared up the Shaman Clan’s suspicions about his intentions and climbed the altar to claim its inheritance. He easily overcame the altar’s trials while the others struggled behind him.
Zhao Fu battled the witch curses guarding the altar, eventually defeating a powerful curse-rune soldier and absorbing the curses to strengthen his curse power. He continued toward the altar’s top, where a series of shrinking spheres of light gathered with terrifying power.
Zhao Fu overcame the altar’s light barrier and reached its summit, where the Shaman Clan’s phantoms passed their inheritances to him. The Shaman Ancestor Power absorbed the inheritance and formed a terrifying new power, whose spreading darkness left the world anticipating a clash among the era’s great geniuses.
Zhao Fu awakened a supreme shaman power that manifested as a colossal figure holding the sun and moon. The Dragon Clan learned that he was the Shaman Clan’s young chieftain, and its elders hurried to meet him as the clan celebrated his rise.
Zhao Fu became the Shaman Clan’s young clan lord, and Wu Ying completed the Immortal Venerable’s inheritance. Outside the sacred ground, the Shaman and Dragon Clan leaders agreed to set aside their grievances and raise Zhao Fu together as the Son of Chaos.
Zhao Fu claimed first place in the Shaman Clan trial and was recognized by the Shaman and Dragon Clans as their young clan lord. He left behind records of the Sun-Moon Shaman Curse and supreme shaman power before the clans prepared to support him.
Zhao Fu told the Dragon Clan patriarchs he was going to the Twelve Moons Trading Company to obtain Twelve Moons Power and pursue the Chaos World's Supreme Imperial Star. Before he left, the patriarchs explained the origins and decline of the Twelve Moons Trading Company.
Zhao Fu learned about the Twelve Moons Trading Company, the Eight Suns Temple, and the ancient divine war before traveling to the Twelve Moons Trading Company to seek its pure moon power. There, he set a plan in motion by targeting a caravan led by Yue Lin, who was attacked by giant worms.
Zhao Fu infiltrated the Yue Family by posing as Yue Xuan after saving Yue Lin, then learned about the family’s power structure and conflict with Yue Lan. When Yue Lan’s servants attacked Yue Lin, Zhao Fu easily knocked them away, leaving Yue Lan and Yue Lin surprised by his strength.
Zhao Fu joined Yue Xiaoqian’s family in exchange for a Moonstone and agreed to seize Yue Lan’s shipment without killing her people. He defeated Yue Mi in battle, leaving the shipment’s guards unable to stop him.
Zhao Fu defeated Yue Mi with ease, took her storage ring, and later returned to the Yue Family to report to Yue Xiaoqian. After agreeing to represent the family in the Hundred Cities Competition in exchange for moonstones, he became involved with Yue Guhua and reunited with Yue Mi, who asked about the competition.
Zhao Fu joined Yue Xiaoqian’s family for the Hundred City Competition, despite Yue Lan’s attempt to recruit him with an offer of wealth and herself. The competition began before leaders of the Eighth Moon Faction, and Zhao Fu quickly overwhelmed his first opponents as he advanced.
Zhao Fu crushed the competition and won the Twelve Moons Trading Company’s favor, helping the Yue Family rise to prominence. He agreed to join the company’s upper ranks but stayed behind briefly to handle matters with the Yue Family.
Zhao Fu absorbed a Moonstone from Yue Xiaoqian’s family, gaining three moon-related abilities, and became involved with several women in the Yue Family. After helping reconcile the Yue and Yue Rong families, he left with Yue Shi and three others for the core region of the Eighth Moon faction.
Zhao Fu traded information about the Son of Origin and the Evil Immortal's successor for a position beside Yue Longlong, a Moon Attendant of the Eighth Moon Faction. His sudden rise left Yue Shi and the other women unable to control him, though Zhao Fu offered to look after them.
Zhao Fu sought to raise his standing in the Twelve Moons Trading Company by using his knowledge and rare possessions. After bringing Moon Saintess the Moon Liquid she had long searched for, he gained her attention, leaving his bid to advance his status in her hands.
Zhao Fu became a Moon Attendant of the Eighth Moon Faction after impressing the Lunar Saintess with his intelligence and Moon Liquid. After absorbing a vast amount of Moon Immortal power, he confronted Yue Qin, who vowed to find a way to strip him of his new position.
Zhao Fu used his new status as a Moon Attendant to gather a million bloodline types and negotiated with the Moon Saintess for the chance to wield primal moon power. The Moon Saintess agreed to consider an exception if Zhao Fu proved his value, leaving him intent on earning that opportunity.
Zhao Fu used a bottle of his own blood, disguised as the Evil Immortal inheritor’s, to win the Moon Saintess’s trust and gain access to the Primordial Moonstone. After mastering origin moon power and an Innate Moon Heaven, he was promoted, and the six Moon Attendants were ordered to obey him.
Zhao Fu defended his authority in the Eighth Moon Faction by defeating Yue Qin in a test of strength. After the Moon Saintess left, Yue Ni recognized that he intended to expand beyond the faction, and Zhao Fu hinted that he would act against the attendants in a few days.
Zhao Fu convinced the Moon Saintess that his dual cultivation art could strengthen moon power, then used it on the six moon attendants and the Moon Saintess. The attendants gained moon bodies, while the Moon Saintess felt her stalled realm nearing a breakthrough.
Zhao Fu visited the Fourth Moon Faction to claim its Moon Power and bronze fragment, then used his unusual constitution to absorb the Fourth Moon’s power without rejection. He left with two Moon Powers and believed that fusing all twelve would let him ascend to the Moon.
With the Moon Saintess’s help, Zhao Fu absorbed the Third, Eleventh, and Twelfth Moon Powers, bringing his total to five kinds and prompting the Moon Immortals to suspect he might be able to merge all twelve. The Twelve Moon Immortals convened at the First Moon Land to discuss what his growing power could mean.
