A great power used Imperial Ruin to curse Zhao Fu, sending death energy against his three Emperor Stars and unleashing death dragons upon Great Qin. The death dragons broke through the defenses and invaded Zhao Fu’s body, while the Emperor Stars were gradually overwhelmed.
Zhao Fu learned that Imperial Ruin had cursed him to death, leaving him with little more than a year to find a cure. After his final hope offered no solution, he was struck by an urgent report that Great Qin’s continent in the Half-Wolf World had fallen.
Zhao Fu reached the front lines as the Demon Horn Empire joined the three worlds’ war against Great Qin, bringing an overwhelming demonic beast army. He fought Yao Ming while the armies clashed, leaving Great Qin struggling to defend its city walls against superior numbers.
Great Qin fought desperately to hold the Great Wall against the allied army as Zhao Fu battled Yao Ming, who wielded the Demon Horn Empire’s Nation-Guarding Artifact. After being driven into the wall, Zhao Fu summoned nine golden divine dragons against Yao Ming’s purple barrier, leaving their duel unresolved.
After Great Qin lost its occupied continents and retreated into Human World, the four allied factions prepared to invade while Zhao Fu recovered from his wounds. In the palace, Zhao Fu began preparing defenses and saw a possible way to counter the Demon Horn Empire in the demonic beasts’ vulnerability to monster aura.
Zhao Fu used the Corpse Soul Blood Pool to recover from his injuries while the Corpse Soul Sword Spirit and Calamitous Dragon Sword Spirit confronted him about his impending death. With his strength restored to eighty percent, he faced the approaching alliance of four worlds, whose Green Shade king offered Great Qin a surrender contract.
Great Qin fought off the allied armies and demon beasts as Zhao Fu battled Yao Ming, who unleashed a powerful attack that sent Zhao Fu flying. As the siege reached the city walls, Bai Qi activated a formation inside the Four Soul Demon Realm.
Great Qin used teleportation traps to turn the Demon Horn Empire’s demon beasts into monsters and deployed pollen that incapacitated the allied armies. The four worlds retreated after their defeat, while Yao Ming threatened an all-out war against Great Qin.
After Great Qin's victory over the four worlds, Zhao Fu replenished its lost ferocious beasts and went to inspect the demon beasts transformed in the Four Soul Demon Realm. His Imperial Ruin Curse interrupted the inspection, and he discovered that the demons who had gathered to serve him were among the transformed demon beasts.
Zhao Fu learned that several thousand demon beasts had taken human form and considered how their strength might benefit Great Qin. As the new year passed, he faced the need to choose a successor from the Ying Family because he had no bloodline to inherit the throne, and the chapter ended as Wu Qingniang entered to see him.
Wu Qingniang confronted Zhao Fu about giving in to the Imperial Ruin Curse, and her words restored his resolve to fight for survival. Zhao Fu revived Great Qin’s preparations for war and began reviewing the Ten Thousand Dragons Merchant Group’s rewards, hoping some might help him overcome the curse.
After Zhao Fu combined the Saint Pill with the masterless blood crystal, he reached Saint aptitude and saw hope of weakening the Imperial Ruin Curse. He then led an elite team into the Demon Horn Empire to steal demonic beasts, preparing to infiltrate their heavily guarded beast grounds.
Zhao Fu infiltrated the Demon Horn Empire to steal demon beasts, then kidnapped Yao Ming’s younger brother when the prince’s disappearance threatened his operation. After teleporting away fewer than a hundred thousand beasts, Zhao Fu held the youth hostage and demanded five hundred thousand demon beasts and the Empire’s breeding method, leaving Yao Ming to decide what price to offer.
Zhao Fu traded the Demon Horn Empire’s captive for demon beasts and a breeding method, then returned to Great Qin and assessed its defenses against future invasions. He ordered improvements to the Dragon-Shooting Ballista and reflected on the Ten Thousand Dragons Seal as Great Qin prepared for more threats.
Zhao Fu traveled to the Azure Province Domain to buy corpses and talisman stones, while the news of his identity as the mysterious Imperial Son spread and made him fear for Great Qin’s safety. Before returning home, the Ten Thousand Dragons Seal reacted to a treasure being contested by Azure Province’s heavenly prodigies, and Zhao Fu went to investigate.
Yue Qingmu, Niu Hu, and Ye Kuang fought over the Haotian Sacred Dragon Pearl until Ming Jian defeated them and moved to claim it. Just as the others were forced to yield, a handsome monk arrived with more than a dozen alluring women, drawing wary reactions from everyone, including Ming Jian.
Youquan defeated Ming Jian and moved to claim the Haotian Sacred Dragon Pearl, but Shi Shuge arrived and challenged him for it. As they prepared to fight, the pearl flew toward a newly arrived person, seeming to recognize him as its owner.
Zhao Fu claimed the Haotian Sacred Dragon Pearl and defeated Youquan, then fought Shi Shuge when she demanded the treasure. Shi Shuge trapped Zhao Fu with the Eight-Scroll Seal and demanded that he surrender the pearl.
Zhao Fu defeated Shi Shuge in a fierce battle and escaped before other powerful experts arrived. He returned to Great Qin with the Haotian Sacred Dragon Pearl and began refining it with the Ten Thousand Dragons Seal.
Zhao Fu absorbed the Haotian Sacred Dragon Pearl, strengthening his body and weakening the Imperial Ruin Curse, though his bloodline still failed to advance. With the peace treaty with Fish Scale World nearing its end, he gathered his ministers to decide whether Great Qin should attack or seek another treaty.
Great Qin used its hidden control of Darkwater Continent to launch a feint against Bluewater Continent, drawing its forces together as enormous monsters advanced. The chapter ended with Bluewater’s army surrounded and facing the monstrous charge.
Zhao Fu’s 650,000 monsters and the forces of Darkwater Continent crushed Bluewater Continent, exposing Darkwater’s allegiance to Great Qin. After Darkwater conquered the continent, the Fish Scale World’s factions mobilized against Great Qin, and Yu Xuan went to confront the threat.
Great Qin used its forces and the eight Sea Beast Kings to attack Fish Scale World on two fronts while defending against attacks from several other worlds. After six days, Zhao Fu captured Bluewater and Weakwater Continents, but the Demon Horn Empire’s assault forced him to abandon plans to push farther and focus on defense.
After Great Qin conquered two more continents, Zhao Fu looked for ways to strengthen his forces and tested whether sea beasts could become monsters. He then witnessed the Imperial Killing Sword World advance, greatly increasing its power and capacity for Sword-Wielding Demonifications.
Zhao Fu tried to lure Ancient Sword Sect sword geniuses with a supreme sword intent so he could capture them, but powerful elders arrived and forced him to abandon the plan. When he spotted the Sect Master's wife among the crowd, he prepared Clone Mud Figurines for a new escape and attack strategy.
