The Meaning of Seeking Demon

With a little over two hours left before the main text was released, Er Gen wished to discuss with all fellow Daoists what "Seeking Demon" meant.

The character "seek" had two interpretations: one was to beg, the other was to pursue.

In Seeking Demon, it took the second meaning! Yet it also contained other meanings. I searched through many characters, but only this "seek" could come close to what lay in my heart.

Now, let us discuss what a demon was. I guessed everyone thought demons were simply bad people—those utterly devoid of conscience, willing to stop at nothing for success, even cultivating demonic arts, great demon lords and the like.

Like the martial arts novels I read as a child, cultivating Purple River Carriage, or becoming inhuman and devoid of all feeling.

But... was that truly a demon?

I once told a friend that I wanted to write a demon—a true demon. Not the crude, gloomy demon lords and demon kings in the eyes of later generations after time had passed, but a demon!!

A weighty character, revealing the whole of a person's life.

What I wanted to write was this: before him, there had never been demons in this world!! After him, there would likewise never again be a true demon!

What I wanted to write was a bond unlike the love in Renegade Immortal, yet even more moving!

What I wanted to write was Su Ming standing atop a mountain peak, gazing at heaven and earth, carrying an air of ancient desolation and sorrow as he murmured words no one cared to hear.

"Since everyone in this world calls me a demon, then so be it. From this day on, I, Su Ming... am a demon!"

What I wanted to write was what you would see in two hours...
