Background / History
Lin left Portugal for China with her uncle An, intending to stay with her aunt Liu for half a year. Behind her back, her father Yu Qiuhua arranged to give her to Ou Luo, head of the Ou family, as part of a political bargain intended to protect Lin's brother Qiuxuan. Her mother openly opposed the decision. 1
Ou Luo abducted Lin, drugged her, and held her in an isolated shack. Despite sustained torture, she remained composed and defiant, even provoking Ou Luo with a strained smile rather than surrendering to him. 1 2 3
A wandering boy, later identified as Zhi/Ming Jian, hid in the shack and ultimately attacked Ou Luo, freed Lin from her restraints, and concealed her before the rescue team arrived. 3 Lin awoke two days later and asked to see only Zhi. Rather than demanding prolonged revenge, she ordered swift executions for Ou Luo and Ou Le while sparing the other Ou family members, explaining that her ordeal had led her to meet Zhi. 4
Lin and her companions, including Kuo Zhe and Ye Zi, began planning to overthrow the Family Alliance within five years. The narrative later identifies Lin as Yaming, Zhi as Ming Jian, Kuo Zhe as Kuo Ming, and Ye Zi as Ye Ming. 4
Before the plan's final phase, Lin returned home after establishing a gang for self-preservation and coordinating with Ye Zi's ongoing strategy. An armed group later pledged its loyalty to her. 14 15 Yaming, Ye Ming, and Kuo Ming ultimately seized the Family Alliance's assets, compelled its leaders to abandon their former power, and transferred the assets to the Guangcheng Group. 17
By the time of Pitch Black's conflict with Sea of Fire, Yaming had become the organization's leader. She addressed its gathered members after the China headquarters incident and personally defended Pitch Black Square with a protective barrier during Sea of Fire's attack. 22 23 She later oversaw the six-month resurrection project that restored Lv Tian and Heming. 25
