Background

Lin Tian lived within the Pope Palace for six years before his Spirit Awakening. His existence was known to high-ranking Titled Douluo, but was otherwise concealed from the public. Bibi Dong raised him as her adopted son, allowed him to reside in her private quarters, and taught him spirit-related knowledge. 3 6

Before awakening, Lin Tian pledged to protect Bibi Dong and to make the Spider Emperor martial soul the strongest. Bibi Dong planned to publicly name him Holy Son if his awakening demonstrated sufficient talent. 3 5 10

At the Spirit Awakening Ceremony, Lin Tian awakened both of Bibi Dong's Spider Emperor martial souls—the Soul-Eater Spider Emperor and Death Spider Emperor—and possessed innate full spirit power. His result drew suspicion from outside factions, many of whom doubted that he was merely Bibi Dong's adopted son. 7 8

First Soul Ring Hunt

Accompanied by Bibi Dong, Ghost Douluo, and Chrysanthemum Douluo, Lin Tian travels to the Star Dou Forest. He absorbs the 650-year Bee Poison King Spider ring, reaches level 13, and obtains Poison King Slash. 14 16 18

Consecration Hall Induction

Qian Daoliu recruits Lin Tian into the Consecration Hall and presides over his prayer before the Angel God. Lin Tian receives the Angel God's recognition, a 100,000-year spirit bone reward, and a breakthrough to level 30. 23

Three-Year Star Dou Forest Training
