His father, Xiao Wu, rose within the Spirit Pagoda through perseverance and an Azure Shadow Snake martial soul; the discovery of Thorn Dragon bloodline through Xiao Wu's fourth spirit soul introduced a spatial attribute into the family line and laid the foundation for Xiao Ran's later awakening.
