As the continent's most renowned academy, Shrek possesses a history of more than twenty thousand years, extensive influence throughout the Sun Moon Federation, and a large base of supporters among soul masters. 72

Sea God Pavilion

The Sea God Pavilion serves as Shrek Academy's highest decision-making body. Its members are prominent continental powerhouses, led by Pavilion Master Bei Dexun, the demigod-level Heavenly Favor Douluo. 25

During the Federation-wide Grand Tournament final, Shrek used a Titled Douluo's Tree of Life healing skill and medicine refined from the Golden Ancient Tree's fallen branches and leaves to restore Yun Ming to peak condition shortly after his defeat. 90

The Academy also drew upon the Golden Ancient Tree during the Holy Spirit Cult's bombardment of Shrek City, raising a golden barrier that nullified the Fixed Soul Guidance Cannon shells aimed at its headquarters. 97

First-Year Final Examination

Shrek's first-year examination requires students to travel from Shrek City to Heaven Dou City within fifteen days without money or supplies. They must pass through at least ten cities and defeat an opponent at least five cultivation levels above themselves in each city. 22

Interception of the Seven Luminaries

During Shrek's first-year examination, the Spirit Pagoda deployed its Seven Luminaries Team to intercept Shrek students traveling toward Heaven Dou City. The operation resulted in twenty-two recorded victories by the Spirit Pagoda team against Shrek students. 22 25

The Sea God Pavilion viewed the operation as interference with Shrek's examination. Rather than dispatch senior members, Bei Dexun arranged a public duel between Shrek's seven strongest first-year students and the Seven Luminaries Team. 25

Heaven Dou City Public Duel

The Heaven Dou City duel opened with individual matches. Qiangu Dongfeng defeated Yu Momo, and Qiangu Qingfeng defeated Han Xiao; Shrek then skipped the third individual match in favor of the team battle. 26

In the seven-on-seven battle, Shrek's formation deteriorated after Ning Xia was disabled and could no longer provide support. The Seven Luminaries ultimately defeated all seven Shrek representatives. 27 28

Following the loss, Long Yeyue accused Xiao Cheng of being an Evil Soul Master because of his dark-attribute power and attacked him on the arena. Leng Zhaoran intervened, and Xiao Ran later wounded Long Yeyue with the Void Nirvana Nail, forcing her retreat. 29 30

Shrek's teachers and students were detained by the Spirit Pagoda after Long Yeyue withdrew. The public defeat and subsequent demigod battle damaged the Academy's reputation across the continent. 30

Spirit Ascension Platform Conflict

During the riot period of the Spirit Ascension Platform, five Shrek Academy students attempted to seize spiritual energy from Xiao Cheng, Leng Yaozhu, and Leng Yulai. The Shrek group was defeated. 36

Later, seven elite Shrek students—identified as the future Shrek Seven Devils—attempted to hunt the platform's guardian, the Burning Sun Heavenly Dragon. Their mission had been ordered as retaliation intended to make the Spirit Pagoda suffer losses following the Heaven Dou City incident. 37 38

After the guardian was defeated by Xiao Cheng's group, Leng Zhaoran submitted a proposal to strengthen Spirit Ascension Platform supervision. The Spirit Pagoda also issued a formal protest demanding that Shrek Academy restrain its students; Bei Dexun publicly promised an investigation and punishment. 42 44

Ya Li Incident

Bei Dexun arranged a scheme in Shrek City intended to bring the healing soul master Ya Li under Shrek Academy's control. The plan was disrupted when Xiao Cheng, Leng Yaozhu, and Leng Yulai intervened before Yun Ming could rescue her. 46 47

Bei Dexun considered Ya Li's Prayer Angel Martial Soul potentially important to Shrek's future pursuit of godhood and ordered measures to prevent the scheme from being exposed. 47

After the failed attempt, Bei Dexun stated that Shrek had removed the people who could expose the operation. Ya Li and Yu Xinlan were subsequently attacked by the evil soul master Mingwu Douluo while leaving Shrek City. 48

Three years later, no direct evidence had established that Shrek Academy collaborated with evil soul masters, but tensions among Shrek Academy, the Spirit Pagoda, and the War God Temple had sharply intensified. 49

Federation-wide Grand Tournament

Shrek Academy entered the Federation-wide Grand Tournament as one of its strongest and most popular teams. Its representatives included Yun Ming, Cao Dezhi, Zang Xin, Guan Yue, Feng Wuyu, Zhuo Shi, and Cai Yue'er—the current generation of Shrek Seven Devils. 71 72

Shrek opened the tournament by overwhelming Skysea Soul Master Academy. Zhuo Shi and Feng Wuyu rapidly defeated Skysea's early contestants, while Zang Xin used his emotion-based control soul skills to defeat Skysea's Soul King-level elites, prompting Skysea to concede the remaining rounds. 72

In the elimination rounds, Shrek Academy faced Tang Sect. The two allied factions deliberately staged a spectacular but non-lethal performance, with Tang Sect narrowly conceding to preserve both organizations' public dignity and longstanding friendship. 82

Shrek later defeated the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineer Academy in the semifinals. Cao Dezhi and Zang Xin overcame Li Dongyang and Zhao Mingyue's Martial Soul Fusion Skill through their combined sword technique, Emotion Moves Heaven—Unity of Emotion Swords, while Yun Ming and Guan Yue decisively won the second doubles match. 82 83

In the final against the Spirit Pagoda, Xiao Cheng defeated all seven Shrek representatives during the individual round. Shrek had anticipated sacrificing that round and instead prepared its decisive team-battle strategy: rapidly restoring Yun Ming through Golden Ancient Tree resources, using Guan Yue's Limit-Breaking Strike to constrain Xiao Cheng, and having Cao Dezhi and Zang Xin activate their Martial Soul Fusion Skill, Emotion Moves Heaven: Vacuum Seal, against him. 90

Holy Spirit Cult Assault on Shrek City

Following the tournament, Ha Luosa attacked Shrek City and engaged Bei Dexun, Qiangu Dieting, and Long Yeyue in the sky. The confrontation served as a diversion while Holy Spirit Cult operatives activated pre-positioned Fixed Soul Guidance Cannons against the city. 96 97

Shrek City's outdated defensive barrier failed under the bombardment, causing extensive civilian devastation. Shrek Academy protected its own grounds by manifesting the Golden Ancient Tree's barrier, then Bei Dexun remotely activated the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and Sea God's Light to defend the Academy from Ghost King Douluo's assault. 97

Ha Luosa was ultimately slain by the combined efforts of Qiangu Haoran, Qiangu Dieting, and Xiao Ran, though his Martial Soul Origin remained capable of drawing on Netherworld power for a future resurrection. 101

The battle left Shrek weakened. Bei Dexun was struck by the Holy Spirit Cult's destructive energy and remained unconscious for a period, while Long Yeyue's cultivation declined from demigod-level Limit Douluo to Rank 98 Super Douluo after her defeat. 101 105

Body Sect Claim to the Secret of the Body

The Secret of the Body, a lost Body Sect cultivation manual, had remained in Shrek Academy's possession since Body Sect Master Du Busi entrusted it to Huo Yuhao during the war against the Sun Moon Empire ten thousand years earlier. The weakened Body Sect had been unable to reclaim it for generations. 113

After reaching the Limit Douluo level, Body Sect Master Mu Huang came to Shrek Academy to collect this historical debt. Shrek mobilized powerful defenders, but Mu Huang defeated the Qian Jun Ant Emperor elder with a single punch and effortlessly suppressed the Academy's assembled forces. 113 114

Bei Dexun personally confronted Mu Huang with the Heavenly Favor Divine Spear, Four-Word Battle Armor, and Heavenly Favored Domain. However, his lasting spinal injury prevented him from sustaining the battle, and he ultimately offered to return the Secret of the Body rather than continue a losing confrontation. 114
