Background / History

Jun Wangyou was raised in apparent hardship in the lower realms and initially believed his parents, Jun Wudi and Bing Wanrou, were ordinary people. Their impatient send-off when he left at eighteen to join the Heavenly Dao Sacred Land made him suspect that he might not be their biological son. 1

He entered the Heavenly Dao Sacred Land as True Man Qingwei’s disciple without undergoing a test and began cultivating on Lingtian Peak. His first major breakthrough exposed extraordinary strength: he broke the Eternal Extreme Realm record at Qi Refining, placing his name upon the Extreme Dao Heavenly Stele. 3 5

After reaching Foundation Establishment, Jun Wangyou chose to conceal his strength rather than seek further public recognition. Despite this caution, his Chaos Green Lotus Dao foundation and destructive test of Sword Slash Azure Sky drew attention within the Sacred Land. 13

Jun Wangyou later learned that his upbringing had been a deliberate trial. His father is Jun Wudi, the Heavenly Emperor of the Supreme Heavenly Court and sole young patriarch of the Chaos God Clan; his mother is Bing Wanrou, Hall Master of the Space-Time Divine Hall and daughter of the Space-Time Immortal Clan’s patriarch. Jun Wangyou himself is the Supreme Heavenly Court’s Young Emperor and the Chaos God Clan’s sole successor candidate. 50

Though the Myriad Law Immortal Sect sought to appoint him Supreme Sect Master, he declined public installation and requested to remain an ordinary disciple. Gu Qingfeng instead granted him the status and privileges of a Supreme Sect Master without announcing it. 51
