Uchiha Yu spotted Sarutobi Asuma from a distance.

After seeing the surprise on Sarutobi Asuma's face, he grinned.

What's the matter, little guy? You want to kill me? You think you can?

Hyuga Tokuma and the five Chunin also remained expressionless when they saw Sarutobi Asuma.

Baki nodded too. "We'll increase patrols as well. We won't let this happen again."

Then Baki shot Asuma a sidelong glance.

That Asuma had actually sent people to secretly assassinate Uchiha Yu and the others.

And on the Land of Wind's border, no less!

What was he trying to do? Start a rebellion?

Baki snorted at Sarutobi Asuma, then turned and led Uchiha Yu and the others toward the Kazekage Building.

Asuma watched Baki leave him behind and flew into a rage.

After all, Uchiha Yu was the one who had killed his father.

But Uchiha Yu's strength still made Sarutobi Asuma uneasy.

After all, it was Uchiha Yu and Uchiha Itachi who had teamed up to kill Sarutobi Hiruzen!

"What do we do?" one of his clan members asked.

He had only a handful of top fighters, and barely any Jonin.

And he thought he could fight the Uchiha with that?

He had to build up his own strength!

"Will Sunagakure allow it?" one of the Sarutobi clan members asked, looking worried.

They'd be gathering their forces right under Rasa's nose!

"If Rasa won't help us, why should we care about him?" Sarutobi Asuma knew that he and Rasa were only using each other.

Since Rasa wasn't willing to help him now, he'd just have to save himself!

It wasn't his fault!

"Yes, Lord Asuma!"

Inside the Kazekage Building.

On the way, Uchiha Yu hadn't seen many familiar faces.

Sunagakure didn't have many ninja.

But Rasa used Magnet Release to gather Gold Dust and sell it to other villages.

That had also brought Sunagakure a great deal of wealth.

His real mission was to investigate whether Sarutobi Asuma was plotting a rebellion.

If he really was, it would be a serious problem.

Rasa smiled and nodded. "There's still more than half a month until then. Why not stay here for a few days?"

As he spoke, a hint of scheming entered Rasa's eyes.

He'd heard Uchiha Yu was proficient in Wood Release and the Sharingan, but right now, the boy looked like nothing more than a seven-year-old child.

Could a seven-year-old's physical and spiritual energy really sustain Wood Release and the Sharingan?

Rasa still felt Sarutobi Asuma had exaggerated a bit.

He wanted to test Uchiha Yu's true strength, too.
