Sarutobi Asuma never imagined that he would one day find himself being threatened.

Sarutobi Asuma fell silent for a moment before saying, "I am the son of the Third Hokage. You are the ones who killed my father; we are irreconcilable enemies."

With that, Sarutobi Asuma clenched his fists.

If the Third Hokage had died protecting the village, he could have accepted it, but instead, he had been killed by the Uchiha Clan during their coup.

This humiliating way to die was something Sarutobi Asuma could not accept under any circumstances.

Uchiha Yu let out a cold snort. "We were able to kill Sarutobi Hiruzen; what makes you, Sarutobi Asuma, any different?"

He then channeled his ocular power, causing the intelligence reports on Sarutobi Asuma's desk to float into the air.

Sarutobi Asuma was shocked, and by the time he tried to stop Uchiha Yu, it was already too late.

"Why don't we cooperate?" Uchiha Yu sneered. "Since you didn't have someone ambush me, I won't fight you to the death. You and I can take out the Shimura Clan together, and then your Sarutobi Clan can leave and never think of resisting again. We Uchiha won't bother you ever again."

"Are you kidding me?" Sarutobi Asuma laughed in anger. "Can you even speak for the Uchiha Clan?"
