Inside Amegakure!
Atop a building constructed from abandoned steel and concrete, several figures had gathered.
Among them were Zetsu, with a gigantic pitcher plant sprouting from his head; Obito, wearing a loose black robe patterned with red clouds, the right half of his face covered in savage scars; and Orochimaru, with white hair and a pair of pale eyes.
Besides the three of them, there was another figure present. His pale body looked very similar to a White Zetsu clone, except the purple ripple-patterned eyes in his sockets radiated majesty.
He was the White Zetsu clone that had been implanted with the Rinnegan—or rather, he should now be called Divine Zetsu.
"Isn't it just summoning the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path?"
"For Lord Divine Zetsu, that's no difficult task at all. With the Rinnegan, I established a connection with it long ago."
At that moment, Divine Zetsu's somewhat flamboyant voice rang out across the rooftop.
Obito and Orochimaru showed no reaction upon hearing this, their expressions unchanged.
Only Zetsu's face visibly darkened, though he ultimately concealed it.
For some reason, ever since this White Zetsu clone had been implanted with the Rinnegan, both his personality and his attitude toward Zetsu, the original body, had gradually begun to change.
Zetsu had originally wanted to abandon this clone outright and transplant the Rinnegan into another one. However, after Orochimaru told him that cultivating a new body would take quite some time, he could only temporarily give up on that idea.
"Let me show you the power of the eyes of a god once more!"
Divine Zetsu's voice rang out again. Then, with a flash, he rushed ahead.
Obito and the others did not hesitate either, quickly following after him.
Before long, the group of four arrived at a vast open space
