Following his conflict with Minato, Obito spent five years training and refining Kamui. He later destabilized Kirigakure through his control of the Fourth Mizukage, Yagura, including the annihilation of the Kaguya Clan. 88 99

Obito sought greater power after facing Kakashi and Naraku. He began fully integrating the First Hokage Cells in his body, eventually improving his physique, Wood Release, regeneration, chakra reserves, and ocular power.
