Background

Ice Release is the bloodline limit associated with the Mizuki Clan, whose survivors are targeted during the Mist Village's purge of Kekkei Genkai families. Mizuki Han begins with a diluted, beginner-level inheritance of the bloodline. 1

After Haku voluntarily provides her blood to save Han, the system extracts her high-purity Ice Release genes and forcibly repairs his damaged genetic chain. The initial fusion heals his fatal injuries while elevating his Ice Release from Primary to Intermediate. 5

Intermediate Ice Release greatly improves Han's ability to form dense, low-temperature ice without hand seals. However, repeated overuse causes his meridians and left arm to crystallize, revealing that his body initially lacks sufficient compatibility with the bloodline. 6 20 21

The Death Row Survival reward later purifies Han's chakra, increases his meridian resilience, restores his left arm, and clears the backlash hazard. The system then unlocks Deep Fusion, a more dangerous process intended to assimilate Haku's bloodline origin rather than merely copy genetic samples. 47 48
