Background

Tang Hao was one of the Clear Sky Twin Stars, a renowned duo formed with his elder brother, Tang Xiao. Both brothers fell in love with Ah Yin, but Tang Xiao withdrew after Ah Yin chose Tang Hao. Tang Hao and Ah Yin subsequently became partners. 15

After Ah Yin revealed herself as a transformed Spirit Beast and later became pregnant, Tang Hao faced the danger that her aura could no longer be concealed. Following Ah Yin’s death at Spirit Hall’s hands, he was forced into hiding and became unable to return to the Clear Sky Sect. 15 31

He initially neglected Tang San, but became far more protective after Tang San awakened the Clear Sky Hammer. He secretly watched over his son and personally visited Shrek Academy to ensure that Flender and Zhao Wuji would care for him. 18

Personality

Tang Hao is deeply attached to his family and sect, but his protectiveness often manifests as secrecy, intimidation, and extreme violence. He urges Tang San to delay awakening his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline until his body can survive it, while also encouraging him to grow strong enough for revenge against Spirit Hall. 31

His caution is especially visible after sustaining hidden injuries against Bai Yu. Though he hates Bai Yu and wants his cultivation method, he hesitates to attack when he believes Bai Yu may have a Titled Douluo ally nearby. 123

When the Clear Sky Sect faces destruction, Tang Hao accepts responsibility for the disaster his past brought upon it. He refuses to flee, entrusts the sect’s retreat to Tang Xiao, and chooses to risk his life buying them time. 264

Tang Hao watches Tang San’s entry into Shrek Academy from the shadows and warns the academy’s staff to protect him. He later reunites with Tang San at Shrek’s Back Mountain, explains Ah Yin’s Blue Silver Emperor heritage, and tells his son not to cultivate the Clear Sky Hammer casually. 18 31

Battles with Bai Yu

Tang Hao attacks Bai Yu after becoming interested in Bai Yu’s cultivation method. Their first battle devastates a mountain and leaves both combatants badly wounded: Bai Yu’s right arm is broken, while Tang Hao’s old injuries reopen. 38 39

After discovering Ah Yin is alive and accompanying Bai Yu, Tang Hao returns despite his hidden injuries. He confronts Bai Yu again, uses Explode Ring to create an opening, and retreats rather than face Bai Yu’s completed ultimate move. 123 124

Defense of the Clear Sky Sect

When Spirit Hall moves against the Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao returns with an evacuation plan involving Tang San and the Strength Clan. He insists that Tang Xiao lead the sect’s survivors away while he remains behind. 263 264

Tang Hao explodes all nine Spirit Rings to gain temporary overwhelming power and hold Bai Yu back. As his body fails, the Asura God’s divine sense takes control through Divine Slaughter’s Domain and continues the battle using Law Power. 264 265 266

Death

The Asura God’s divine sense is ultimately unable to sustain Tang Hao’s ruined body. After one final clash with Bai Yu, his body collapses and dies. Bai Yu orders Tang Hao’s Spirit Bones collected, while Tang San later learns of his father’s sacrifice and swears revenge. 266 267
