Sacrifice and Regrowth

Ah Yin fell in love with Tang Hao and later sacrificed herself to him. Her undying talent preserved her as a seed, which Tang Hao planted in a dark cave behind a waterfall. She eventually regrew, but her cultivation remained below one hundred years before Bai Yu found her 15 30 116 117.

While still confined to her plant body, she received the Chronicle of Time. Bai Yu’s entries accused Tang Hao of exploiting her sacrifice and described Tang San as an otherworldly being rather than her original child. These accounts left her distressed and determined to question Tang Hao; the accusations about his motives originate in Bai Yu’s writing 15 18 32.

Return to the Blue Silver Forest

Bai Yu located Ah Yin, retrieved a blue-gold Spirit Bone from the cave wall, and placed it beneath her roots. Claiming that he had wronged her in a previous life, he helped restore her cultivation and took her back to the Blue Silver Forest. Her people welcomed her as their emperor, and she reunited emotionally with the Blue Silver King elder 30 31 32.

Ah Yin nevertheless wanted to leave again to find Tang Hao. Bai Yu admitted that he had brought her home partly to antagonize him and made further help conditional on excluding humans from the forest—especially those with Blue Silver Emperor bloodlines. Despite worrying about the consequences for her child, she ordered the elder to enforce the restriction 32.

Bai Yu then forced intimacy on her: he suppressed her Soul Power and continued despite her objections and resistance.
