Awakening and journey to the human world

Gu Yuena awakens at Lake of Life after considering Bai Yu's request for aid against the Three Gods. Curious about whether he is worthy to fight beside her, she manifests a silver-haired human body while leaving her true dragon body behind to avoid easy detection by the God Realm. She names this body Gu Yuena and travels toward the human world with Zi Ji as her attendant. 28

Before departing, she orders the Sky Azure Bull Python to guard the outskirts of Lake of Life and prevent humans from entering. Though initially displeased that it would one day sacrifice itself for a human, she allows it to continue guarding the area. 28

Assessing Bai Yu

Gu Yuena observes Bai Yu's battle through a Water Mirror but refuses to save him when he collapses. She considers his survival a test of whether he is qualified to stand alongside her. 40

After sensing that Bai Yu's Power of Creation can suppress and neutralize Asura's power, she decides that he may be capable of treating the injury on her true body. However, she concludes that his strength is still insufficient and urges him to cultivate faster. 44

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Gu Yuena identifies the site as the burial place of the Water Dragon King and Fire Dragon King, whom she calls old friends. She suppresses Bai Yu's power with a hand on his shoulder and refuses to disturb the Dragon Kings' remains. 67 68

Cooperation with Bai Yu

Gu Yuena provides Bai Yu with a God-Bestowed Spirit Ring when he seeks a high-level dragon-type Spirit Beast for Liu Erlong. She condenses the ring directly and gives it to him as a substitute. 95

She later agrees to help Bai Yu locate high-level Spirit Beasts for his Soul Gathering Seal project, recognizing that the seals could benefit Spirit Beasts by reducing the need to hunt them for Spirit Rings. 154 155

During this cooperation, Gu Yuena publicly reveals that she is the Silver Dragon King and the Common Lord of all Spirit Beasts. Healing the Asura injury

Gu Yuena permits Bai Yu to examine her true body at the bottom of Lake of Life. Her enormous silver dragon body bears a bluish-purple wound on one hind leg, caused by residual Asura Divine Power. 171

Bai Yu's first attempt to treat the wound has limited effect: his Power of Creation can erode the divine power, but Creation Form drains him too quickly to complete the healing. He concludes that he will need to reach the Title realm first. 171

When Bai Yu prepares to undergo his Godhood Tribulation, Gu Yuena agrees to guard him against interference. She warns him that the tribulation itself is exceptionally dangerous. 321
