Perhaps that person should have thanked Jack. If Jack had not made the first move, Yuxian would definitely have sent Martha or Brother Fei to teach them a lesson. The outcome certainly would not have been this harmonious.
At some point, Jack had subconsciously stopped killing people outright.
Chapter Eight: An Overconfident Yuxian
Upon entering Baratie, the sea restaurant was incredibly lively. The pirates, drunk on alcohol, behaved wantonly and without restraint. Everyone seemed accustomed to this kind of life, and no one voiced any objections.
Although Yuxian disliked such noisy, boisterous places, he endured it in order to improve their meals.
Food came first.
They found a seat by the window, where it was relatively quiet, and sat down together.
"Order already! Master, hurry up! Get one of every tasty dish!" The little ones had long since become impatient and could not wait to eat delicious food.
"Can you even finish one of everything?" Yuxian could not help starting another lecture. "Wasting food is a very bad habit."
"We can take the leftovers with us!" Gretel looked at Yuxian as though asking whether he was stupid. "We will not waste anything!"
"Fine, fine. We will do whatever you say." Yuxian could do nothing against them, so he gave in.
He shouted, "Boss! Give us one of every dish!"
"Coming right up! Would you like some alcohol?"
"No. Do you have juice? Bring us some juice."
Yuxian did not dare drink alcohol, and the children certainly could not drink either. Even Siegfried and the others should not drink; drunk driving was not something worth promoting.
"Hahahaha! How can warriors of the sea not drink?"
Hearing that Yuxian's group did not want alcohol, everyone in the restaurant began egging them on, insisting that they had to drink.
