But the first place Uzumaki Mito headed for was the Ancestral Shrine. It was crucial to the clan's legacy and absolutely could not be lost.

Meanwhile, the Uchiha elites scattered across the compound saw the billowing smoke in the distance and knew Izuna had succeeded. It was time for them to act, too.

By then, all the Uzumaki shinobi guarding the clan shrine had fallen in pools of blood.

The three elite Uchiha jonin had shown just how terrifying they were. The Uzumaki guards were no weaklings; there had even been three ordinary jonin and one elite jonin among them.

But when elite Uchiha jonin with the Three-Tomoe Sharingan launched a surprise attack, their only fate was death on the spot.

These three were also responsible for kidnapping Uzumaki Mito. According to the plan in the Revenge Plan, she was most likely to show up here.

That was the result of countless simulations and deductions by the mastermind. Of course, if Uzumaki Mito didn't show up here, there was a backup plan.
