Beerus resides at the World of the God of Destruction with his attendant, Whis. He slept for thirty-nine years after the Oracle Fish foretold that a rival capable of matching him would appear on the day he awakened. A prophetic dream reinforced the warning, leaving Beerus eager rather than fearful at the prospect of a worthwhile fight. 64 65

Following the Oracle Fish's identification of a Super Saiyan God, Beerus and Whis travelled to Earth in search of surviving Saiyans and the foretold opponent. 65

Beerus is a purple-skinned, hairless, cat-like humanoid with a lean build. He wears ancient-style divine robes and has sharp claws and feline features. 66

Earth Confrontation

At Bulma's birthday party, Beerus searches for the Super Saiyan God and quickly becomes hostile when the trail seems cold. He defeats Son Goku, incapacitates Vegeta after Bulma is injured, and overwhelms the other Z Fighters. Piccolo postpones Earth's destruction by bargaining Qin Feng's location in exchange for Beerus's mercy. 68 70 71

Qin Feng arrives as the true Super Saiyan God sought by Beerus. Their battle escalates through divine transformations, full power, Ultra Instinct, Time-Skip, and Hakai Energy.
