Information Emerges

After subduing the eight demons, including the Earth Bear King, He Yu knew they were surely unwilling to submit. He didn't care, though. Their consciousness origins were in his hands, so they couldn't cause any trouble. Besides, he wasn't afraid of them with his current cultivation. Once the matter of Pangu's Information was settled, he would have plenty of time to slowly bring them to heel.

He headed toward the Green Spirit Fruit Tree. With the Ten Demon Marshals' help, they moved twice as fast as they had on the way there. Before long, the demons arrived at the tree. Looking at this acquired spiritual root, which held terrifying amounts of spiritual energy, the Ten Demon Marshals all grew envious. The Earth Bear King, in particular, stared at it with wide eyes.

"Good thing no other demons discovered it. Otherwise, we'd have had another major headache." The Green Spirit Fruits were now fully ripe. Their color was a muted, misty green, with shimmering radiance contained within. Even when he sensed them with his consciousness, he couldn't penetrate the fruits.

"These Green Spirit Fruits have great effects. If I eat one now to improve my cultivation, it'll probably take quite a while to digest. I'd better wait until this matter is settled." He Yu stirred his demonic energy and joined it with half the spiritual root's origin in his consciousness, effortlessly taking the Green Spirit Fruit Tree into his hands.

"Ten Demon Marshals, heed my command! Each of you, lead a thousand lesser demons and spread out in ten directions. Surround this entire ten-thousand-li area. Any demon that enters is to be killed without mercy!"

There was nothing else he could do. Finding it would be difficult, so he would have to secure the area first and then search at his leisure.

"Yes, sir!" The Ten Demon Marshals answered respectfully. Each led a thousand lesser demons away in different directions, surrounding the entire ten-thousand-li area as He Yu had ordered and barring other demons from entering.

After the demons dispersed, He Yu lowered his demonic cloud and spread out his consciousness to sense the surroundings. At his current level of cultivation, he could sense a ten-li radius. Searching the entire ten-thousand-li area would take care and effort, but it was still possible. He immediately guided his demonic cloud along at a slow pace, sensing everything within the region.

A long while later, He Yu returned to the spiritual vein, frustrated. After all that effort, he had sensed every inch of the ten-thousand-li area and searched as far as a hundred meters underground, yet he still hadn't found Pangu's Information.

Could the Earth Bear King have lied? He Yu immediately dismissed the thought. The Bear King's consciousness origin was in his hands. It had no way to obtain Pangu's Information now; its best option was to help He Yu find it. That way, it might benefit too.

Unable to find Pangu's Information for now, He Yu suddenly thought of something. The emergence of important treasures from the Primordial World often brought changes to the Heavenly Momentum. There had been no sign of any change yet, so it seemed the time for the information to emerge hadn't come. But how long would he have to wait?

"I understand. It should happen once Pangu's Pressure has finished contracting across the outer half of the Mount Buzhou Range!" He Yu thought. Then it occurred to him that the information's emergence might trigger changes in the Heavenly Momentum, and countless demons might swarm toward it. He was confident in his cultivation, but he might not be the strongest. And what if several powerful demons joined forces?

Time slipped quietly by as He Yu cultivated and the Ten Demon Marshals kept the area under tight guard.

No one knew how much time had passed. Perhaps a day, perhaps two. Suddenly, all the demons felt the world tremble, and a message appeared in their minds: Pangu's Pressure had finished contracting!

The moment Pangu's Pressure finished contracting, He Yu opened his eyes. Two rays of light shot three feet out from them, showing that his cultivation had advanced considerably once more.

"Is it about to emerge?" Sensing the twenty-five Demon Cores inside him, He Yu felt utterly confident. With his current cultivation, was there any demon left who could compete with him for Pangu's Information?

During this period of cultivation, He Yu had raised all the Demon Cores in his Twenty-Four Inner Mansions to the perfect peak of the early Golden Core stage.
