Zheng Yutong first appears in the real world as an assistant from headquarters assigned to preside over a branch-office budget discussion. She evaluates Li Wei favorably after he presents an excellent proposal, while remaining unimpressed by Zhang Dequan's flattery and scheming. 13

She is later revealed to be a veteran Reincarnator of Shadow Street. During the Heroes of Might and Magic scenario, she reunites with Li Wei and initially treats survival pragmatically, urging him to abandon the severely injured Bai Jie rather than expend valuable medicine on her. Li Wei's actions and composure lead Zheng Yutong to reassess him. 17 18
