Tang San is the son of Clear Sky Douluo Tang Hao and the Blue Silver Empress Ah Yin. His martial soul was awakened by Su Yuntao, a grassroots Spirit Hall Spirit Master, rather than by his father. He later learns that he is the Young Sect Master of the Clear Sky Sect and possesses twin martial souls: Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer. 223 622

In the Star Dou Great Forest, Tang San attempts to absorb a Thousand-Year Man Faced Demon Spider's soul ring. The spider's resentment nearly overwhelms his mind, but Chen Hong's Blood Divine Mark suppresses the ring's Mental Impact.
